I have this camera and I was a little dissapointed. It's quality was good while watching it from the lcd play-back, but when uploaded to youtube its quality is rarely even 360p. I have the jvc everio gz ms 95 and everytime i want to edit something i have to convert the file to AVI. why is that? and also after i converted it, its less quality.

I use the Ulead Video Studio for editing and it supports MOD files. You don't have to convert them, the quality remains great and you can save them in many different formats. MPEG 2 is the equivalent of MOD so i use it for my projects.
