its easy to make a homemade one all you do is take apart a computer mouse and put it in a dry erase pen and hook it up to your computer and use it on your computer. it works because a mouse uses an infared light and camera that tracks where you are on your surface and if you put your mouse on your screen it works perfectly and theres no fandangled dock or cradle or camera eye or instaling any software i think its easier and better to work with
i just got this and theres no pen pressure!!!0_0 ...but the callibration is good i finally got it to work you have to tilt it when you click the buttons to how you normally would write. you dont have to recalibrate after 30 seconds just click on the screen to turn it on again. the duo board program- it comes with is kind of iffy because you cant scroll down when you have already marked the screen on a webpage or something.
Well, it woud be enough if i'd use it in windowed Gimp for example.
But i got another solution that have to work either: wiimote and an IR pointer. (still workin' on it - without IR pointer it's a bit strange to use the mote's motion sensor)
I got another question: What if i stick it to the SIDE of the monitor, not the top of it? Is it able to "grow" the max size of the monitor i can use with Duo? (i got 22" 16:9 monitor)

s it possible to write as fast as with a pen and paper with this?
I think about using something like this for university-lectures, but this would only work for me if I can write as fast as with pen and paper.

To write on the vertical screen will cause significant stress in the shoulder This is really not a good idea

@MultiBARCA09

Can anyone, please, help me with this:
Can I use this pen on another computer? I got a new Dell inspiron (windows 7).
or it can only be used with that particular laptop?
also: can it be used on another surface, instead of the computer screen?
like a soft glass or surface on the table?
thank you for any information

yes you can put on a flat surface and write with a pen niblet with ink
red03stang 3 years ago
hey I have a request.
Could you try using this sensor and the PnF Duo pen on separate flat board?
Not exactly on the Laptop Screen but, maybe on a just simple book or hard board. If that works, that is super greater than the tablet,
I wanna know. thanks!
