Meh. Shaders. Maybe I'm just irked about my graphics card not supporting shaders, but most of the things you said in the demo are possible in fixed-function-pipeline.
@Saskachewan, during the fixed function pipeline, it's The Beatles with Here Comes the Sun (as sutasman said). During the programmable pipeline it's DJ Sammy with Beautiful Smile.
