It has a nice contemporary pop sound but lacks the power of other versions i've heard.

The Soweto Gospel Choir version is the very best IMO.

Surprisingly the version done by the South African Pop trio Qkumba Zoo is also great, I'll try to post them & link them when I have time.

This was originally done by a band from South Africa called bright blue, personally I think they did it better BUT groban did a great job. Bright blue lived what was going on so were able to capture the essensce of it but this is still very well done.

Just a small point - while this is a truly excellent rendition of this song, it isn't original. It was written by a South African protest band called 'Bright Blue' and was first released in the mid-80's.
