  • i have a high arch like you. but its not extreme. so do i need extra cushioning or just a cushioned sneaker?

  • Hi, I would recommend extra cushioning which you will find in sneakers that are specifically for people with high arches.

  • very helpful

  • I have underpronation as well. Is this something that I should try to correct? If so, do you have any recommendations?

  • Hi, there really is not way to change your foot. All you can do is to make sure you buy the proper shoe for your foot type. That in effect corrects your step.

  • @YouTips4U Thanks! :)

  • GO Underpronators!

  • This is so helpful! You explained it so well. I always have problems with sneakers and usually wind up just leaving them in the closet, but with your advice it will be a whole lot easier to get the right fit. Thank you. You have some of the best informative videos on Youtube.

  • Hi, thank so much sharing. I really appreciate your wonderful feedback; it let's me know I'm doing a great job and really inspires me.

  • I agree with the sneaker info! I wear skate shoes to run, because I dun have 60 bucks for the running shoe, so.. yep... painful. lol ^_^*

  • Thank you very much for the video, I'm about to start exercising next week, and I was thinking a lot about what shoes I should get, this is really helpful for me, and the timing is great:D Thank you very much!!

  • Hi Brooke, I really appreciate your wonderful feedback. It makes me so happy to know that my videos are helping people like you improve their lives. Thanks again, your comment means a lot to me.

  • Thanks so much for this! I was planning on starting an excercise program next week and hadn't even taken footwear into consideration...

  • Wow, my timing's perfect! Good luck with your exercise program :o) Thanks so much for your comment!

  • just curious how long would you say a pair lasts you? no way could I but 4 pair in a year?

  • Hi, it really depends on how much use they get. What I meant in the video, is that I buy several pairs of a specific sneaker that really fits me well so I don't have to search and find one each time I wear out a pair. It's just easier for me because I have a hard time finding a perfect fit. I usually get about 6-8 months out of a pair because I do a lot of running and walking which eventually compresses the materials and they no longer cushion me properly.

  • great video

  • Thank you! I appreciate your feedback :o)

  • Great video. Like the tip for how to choose the right trainers for one's feet. Do you think cheap no brand trainer are bad for running, jogging etc. Have you got any thoughts on cross trainers. My Nike cross trainers have gone to trainers graveyard.

  • I think it's so important to buy the right sneaker for your feet because if you don't, you can really suffer and it's just not worth it. Sometimes foot problems can become severe so it's best to prevent it. Also, you really can perform better with a better quality shoe. Cross trainers are fine for indoor exercise like in a gym on low impact equipment, but for any type or high impact running or extended walking, I would highly recommend a good running sneaker. You won't regret it!

  • very helpful - thanks so much.

  • by the way this video is VERY good and helpful. My foot is very FLAT! :( I never know what shoe is good for me.

  • Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback.

  • do you believe in workout machines like the air climber that doesn't hurt your joints and or the ab circle pro. I've been thinking about buying the ab circle pro...looks like it really works in both cardio and toning.

Please check it out if you haven't and tell me what you think about it!!

  • Hi, I use cardio workout machines all the time at my gym. I love them and think they're great. I've not tried the air climber, but I looked it up for you. It looks like a good workout as long as the resistance is high enough. It probably wouldn't be for me because I like having something to hold onto for balance. I also took a look at the ab circle. I'm not sure you would like it for any extended period of time due to the stress it puts on your knees.

  • I MEAN NICE VIDEO

  • Hi again, I am so glad that you did this video, as I am just getting ready to purchase a new pair of sneakers. I also have a high arch and wide foot, so I do find that it can make it more difficult to pick the right one. I wanted to ask, do you get blisters on the back of your heels, when you are breaking in the new sneaker? I did with my last pair and wasn't sure if this is normal or the shoe was not fitting right. Thanks again

  • People like us with high arches are prone to getting blisters in the back of our heels. Many times this is caused because the instep is not deep enough. That's why it's so important to buy a shoe that's made for someone with high arches. Also, be sure to wear socks that cover that area of your heel. I know that the no shows make our legs look great, but they can bunch in that area and cause rubbing or slip down and your heel will just scrape the inside of the sneaker.

  • YOU ARE CUTE

    NICE PIC

  • Thank you! You're very sweet :o)
