very nice tutorial...but it would be so nice if one shows how to make multiple swf files play in tone main swf one after another. It would help many save file size.

That is, one swf file loaded on the main file would be able to call the next swf file and this swf file call another swf file and so on....

I was able to make this work with text, but when I try to lead a .swf (an image gallery) I am getting a Security Sandbox Violation! I am trying to figure out how to fix the security settings but this is such a headache! Can anyone help me? I'm trying to make it so my client can update their own photos on the server.

hi, and thnx for the vid. i got a question, does there have to be a special permission for that txt file when uploaded? to be honest ive set its permission to 777, from its default 664, but it still doesnt load. also when i put it's url on the web browser it shows me a blank page, but the title is the page is the name of my txt file. i was wondering if you could help me out here. thnx

NEED HELP!! I did the steps in my own website but, when i tried to put a swf file on a clipmovie area, it apears in the far right of the website instead of in the clipmovie area. I thought i might need to write the X and Y positions but I don´t really know :( What should i do??

When i try to upload to my internet site with a SWF file the text does not show up. The FLA file shows it great though. Any suggesstions??

I could be wrong, but I think that since the swf file is uploaded to a site, it will need some form of server side script in order for it to load it up.

P.S. I hate server side scripting!

Really informative, I'm trying to load swfs files into a website, i can load them no problem but I'm having trouble with resizing/positioning them within the site. (I want everything that appears outside the stage on the swf to remain hidden when it loads and I think I may have to use container code to do so but I'm not sure where to begin.

i have a swf video opening up and taking up a good portion of the screen just like i want it to, but where can i add code to make the externally loaded swf file close when i click it?

more info:

i have the swf movie loading into the page on a "click release" of a button, and everything looks good, i just need to click something to get it to close, in case the viewer doesn't want to sit through the entire swf movie

dude the only problem with your vids are that because you dont zoom on your vid where you work it is not clear to see so could you zoom in so people can know what you are doing
