The reason these vendors have 4000k is that they are thieves guild fences.

@source144 Please read the description or the comments. If the vendors do NOT have 4k gold you are not the guildmaster. Because its not a straight questline a lot of people seem to miss it. Have a look at the description link and look for the quest under new management.

@ZackDuncan2180 761 sounds strange. However you need to complete the thieves guild questline in its entirety in order to trade with those NPC's and for them to have 4000 gold available.

@JRxPHANTOM Yes. You need to do 5 of them in Markath, Solitude, Whiterun and Windhelm. After you have done 5 in the specific city you will be offered a special job. Complete all four of those and you can do the last quest, where you will become the actual guildmaster. After that the vendors have 4k each.

@JRxPHANTOM Also if you are offered a job in a city you dont need to go anymore/at all you can simply talk to the questgiver and abandon it.

Thanks bro. This is such an easy way to get the 100,000 gold achievement if you go completing dungeons while looting TONS of high value emerals, rings and necklaces. Then just use Endon for selling them. If you come back with more than 4k items worth to sell, exit out of markarth and enter back in to respawn Endon's gold balance. I don't know why some people are complaining here. Each dungeon can pack a good 8k worth items to sell. If you killed endon, *face-palm*. Cheers "meister321"

@darkreapersgrim I hear ya, its the same for me and I make daedric for a profit and the bows sell for 3300 after improving and etc, also I do the enchanting iron daggers way and those sell for about 1,200 each depending on the soul gem and other things like the merchant, so yeah it's a major downside to the game but if it wasn't there people would have to much gold and it would be to easy.

4k is nothing. My Ebony armor goes for almost 2k. That means I have to "wait" 24 hours after selling only two items. And I don't have daedra armor yet but I heard those sell for around 4k also. This means that I have to "wait" 24 hours after selling only one item. The limit cap is fucking frustrating. This is one negative point in the game.

@DarkReapersGrim My ebony armor goes for 2026999 gold. Just go to the invisible chest in dawnstar and keep getting the free 750 gold and sell some of the shit in there to Enthir after buying daedric hearts and black soul gems or use it to fund your training and sell it to trainers.

@fitzgeraldfitzy well only the standard way.. talk to a guard. His problem in markath was actually quest related, the one with the forsworn. You cant get rid of your bounty there.

@FFSvsFTW If you serve the sentence (go to jail) which is very short, all of your bounty is removed but you do lose just a little bit of points in a few of your skills but it's worth it. I had the same problem except I killed every guard that saw so I have no bounty lol

@Voraxith wow.. im gonna try and answer as good as i can. You can reach lvl81 which lets you spent 80 perk points. Heavy armor is the best (wish i knew this before) because it costs less points to reach the armor cap (80% or 567 armor rating). Money/Gold becomes really trivial once you complete a certain quest (gonna do a vid on that as well soon). Back to your question. The gear you create in that fashion is for your character. It is way too expensive to sell.
