You know, i'm tired of arguing. Halo and Doom are both good games, and MC and Doomguy are both badasses. Only reason you guys are hating on Halo is because it didn't come first. If Halo was the one who basically created FPS then you guys would be hating on Doom. It's all about who came first.

You know Doom 3 was awesome and such and this was great but I miss the blood and guts you get when you kill a monster like from the classic gameplay. When using a BFG round makes a room full of zombies go splat is an awesome feeling . Compared to a BFG round making them vanish like a gay vampire.

Seriously an epic battle. I enjoyed it much more than Doom 3's ending. The remix sucks though. In fact it was best with no music.

And of course this is harder. Doom guy doesn't move 80mph in Doom 3, there's a stamina meter, and Cyberdemon can step on you if he gets too close.  He has better pathing too. You spend the entire match as far away as possible, firing and forgetting lest you end up flattened or with a missile up your ass.

Whats up with this remake? Demons got the same original HP or the new values? For example you know is harder to kill D3 Cyber than original one -between 30 to 40 rockets or less than 10 BFG shots-

This version is actually harder than the original because there's reloading and the fact it takes almost 100 rockets to send the Cybie back to hell!

I remember in the old Doom it only takes about 45.

How come Classic Doom 3 only did the newer verison of KNEE DEEP IN THE DEAD, and not THE SHORES OF HELL,and INFERNO? Is it too much graphics to work on or something????

They only did the first episode because it was freeware. The only way the other three episodes would have been made were if ID allowed them to make it. Otherwise, it is pretty much illegal to make them without permition.

This level was created by a random mapper. I'm working on my own map, Trips n Traps, which was a classic level from Doom II :-)

That level redesign was amazing. I especially love the way that the Cyberdemon doesn't shoot hypersonically fast anymore, because I always thought it was a bit over the top.

No. Let the people at Id do DOOM 4 the way they intend to do it...BUT...hire the guys who remade Episode 1 ('Knee-Deep in the Dead'), and give them whatever assistance and resources they need to finish remaking The Ultimate DOOM (including Episodes 2, 3 and 4), and remake DOOM II.
