  • i NEED this soundtrack.

  • I love it

  • I really do love the music, I think Joby Talbot did such an amazing job, it sounds so magical! I watch these videos over and over again, I just love listening to the music and hearing little themes he uses for different characters, it's so clever! I think Christopher Wheeldon did such a beautiful job with the choreography, I think the way Wheeldon and Talbot worked as a team just means the music and dance mesh perfectly if you see what I mean, not a bit of dance to some pretty music.

  • CANDYLAND!

  • I HONESTLY THINK CHRISTOPHER WHEELDON SHOULD BE THE NEXT DIRECTOR OF THE ROYAL BALLET, THIS IS SO EXCITING!

  • False! Tis not the Royal Ballet.

  • 6:09 from there onwards, just beautiful.

  • wow. im a dancer! but id have to say... that is NOT dancig at all. not even close. =/

this x mas im in a alice in winterland show and it sway better then that. well the costumes are better, and its soo much funnier too. =P

  • @missdancer333 Perhaps when you're a Principal for the royal ballet you'll have a little more credibility. I think until that point, you probably don't have the authority to declare whether or not something can be considered dancing. Of course, if your views really are that narrow, you're *probably* going to have a little trouble being taken seriously as a dancer of any level.

  • @lusbyj whatever. i ment a tthe begging when she was just satnding there eating and when she was dancing and the doors were moving behind her... =/

  • @missdancer333 *gasp* God forbid there be a theatrical aspect in a ballet! ¬¬ I'm sure you're quite aware of the fact that it is simply not possible to tell a story of any real complexity with just the movements you're taught in a standard dance class. Is eating a small piece of blue mushroom a common and named official dance movement? No, but it plays an integral part in making the entire dance make sense, so yes, I'm afraid it is still a part of the dancing.

  • @missdancer333 I was Clara for Central West Ballet's production of The Nutcracker in 2010, and even though my performance is a far cry from Lauren Cuthbertson's beautiful portrayal of Alice, my experience has showed me that the magic of dance isn't about perfect technique, or "better costumes". What makes people want to come see these dancers perform is their passion, and love for their art. People would not love Clara if she wasn't feisty, or if she did not share her emotions with the audience.

  • @missdancer333 pls post a video of your xmas alice in winterland show and let the world judge which one is "close to dancing" and "better" :)

  • @missdancer333 This love for the most human art form, is a love you obviously don't have, considering your measure of "real dancing", seems to consist of your preferred costume style and comedic value. Maybe you should watch this video again, and maybe TRY to appreciate the raw passion and energy that emanates from these amazing dancers. REAL DANCERS.

  • haha omg her face at 0:13 secs.... and at 0:22 secs is sooo funny! =O =P

  • And to think I clicked on this video by accident... this is wonderful!

  • demasiado bonito! la coreografía espectacular, los bailarines fluyen con una naturalidad absoluta. pues eso...demasiado bonito.

  • The music especially during the dance between Alice and the Knave is so beautiful :)

  • the dance between alice and the knave is so beautiful.

  • LOL Her face! At 0:22! Ahahahah xD

  • E is a crazy drug, Alice...

  • alice loves them drugs=)

  • This is just perfect! DVD here I come!

  • Who wrote the music??

  • @swisscheese724 joby talbert i think

  • this was excellent! Nice to see it on YT. I'd love to see the mad hatter tap dance again though :)

  • this is splendid !!!!

  • Who did the music for this??

  • @Courtinka Joby Talbot

  • The dancers look great as always in the Royal Ballet! The only thing that ruined it for me is that I loathe seeing dancers eat on stage. Made me a little nauseated, lol. Other than that, they're all awesome

  • @dancedude18 er okay...what's your problemo with food? do you not eat yourself?

  • @dancedude18 you do realize that is a part of the ballet and a very vital one at that.

  • Royal Ballet is looking very good these days! I hate the music but the costumes are great!

  • Any chance of seeing the last PDD please....Thank you

  • Lauren and Sergei are stunning! Maybe September you say for Dvd release? Very excited now :)
