  • "I'm sorry just too high-pitched."

    "Is Barry White?"

    LOL.

  • The best part was watching the Brits, Steve and Tony, laugh at the Canadian and American trying to do Shakespeare.

  • Tony and Steve have some really funny Film Dub moments xD

  • 1:36 best face ever xD

  • Sodomy jokes for the win

  • Can anyone tell me the Film TV and Theater styles where Ryan apparently goes off stage and leaves Colin and he gets really nervous without him? And it's not in their first episode together I've heard it's a later one but I can't find it.

  • @Yellow4494

    Is this it?

    /watch?v=uhotrHZ_1IE

  • Ryan's "Shakespeare" line is actually in iambic pentameter.

  • I LOVED how Tony and Ryan "act natural"

  • Tony Slattery is so cute

  • "I'm sorry, it's just too high-pitched." Haha, I love Clive's wit.

  • @uns33ntr4th Personally I like the US version a little better, I like that Drew also participate more in the show. I also like that he cracks up easily, hearing his little laughter in the background sometimes makes a scene funnier. But I like the UK version too, maybe Clive don't participate in the games but he's really funny and witty. the UK version also have some really funny players like Tony Slattery and Steve Frost here. And as a bonus in the UK they can swear.

  • @CountryMusicFanForev I know this is extremely subjective, so I respect your opinion.

In mine, however, the original UK version was simply better.

People like Sessions and Slattery and Merton .. they brought the all important British comedic element of satire into this harmless improv show, and their comedy was a lot more intelligent, and didn't rely entirely on lazy gags or toilet humor. And without Ryan and Colin the US version would be absolutely horrible.

    That's just me though.

  • @Mayna00 I respect your opinion, and I do not want to be rude, Yes they brought humor, British humor. I wonder, how much of the series did you watch that was in the US? I personally didn't like Sessions, he wasn't that funny, he was too serious to be funny. To be honest, the US and UK were really too different to compare, they are almost like Apples and Oranges to compare, just like Britain and America. The show played off on RynCol chemistry, so it seemed like it would suck, but it wouldn't.

  • @CountryMusicFanForev I love Ryan and Colin! To me, they were the only ones that made the show funny. Wayne comes on too strong, for me.

You're right. It's just a matter of liking British humour over American and vice versa.

And the US version perfected a lot of the games the UK one never really got the hang of (Helping Hands, Hoedown, Sit Stand Bend Over) .. but to me, no improv show comes close to Whose Line UK. And that includes Clive, who IMO was a FAR better, wittier chairman than Drew.

  • @Mayna00 Yeah, he was witter, I personally like the more happy aura of US, I mean, Drew was new to this, and he had these funny guys playing in front of him, i don't know, by Clive might of done hosting work before hand. I love them both, and they are both the funniest shows I've every seen. About two months ago my sister re-introduced the shows to me, since I was little last time i had seen the US episodes, and I haven't laughed as hard in those two months in my life.

  • 3:53 The best Shakespeare ever... :)

  • I think it would be nice if they gave a part of England or America or Canada for each cast member . Like Los Angeles or Toronto or Manchester depending on who it is!

  • This is my favorite panel! :D <3

  • Haha, that was some lousy Shakespeare! :D

  • @uns33ntr4th Almost no time to sit down? Seriously? Why should they have time to sit down?

This show is more about the improv than idle banter like the US version. The US censors are just stupid, with Drew saying 'Family show! Disney owns the network!' Urgh. Pisses me off. Also, Drew ruins everything. He should leave the comedy to the comedians.

This is more about the wordplay, innuendo, and physical comedy. The US censors won't let them do much, so all they do is rely on Ryan and Colin.

  • @Mayna00 The censors are stricter because ABC is a family network - kids watch WLIIA. And Drew was trying to get into Improv, if he hadn't, there wouldn't be work for any of the American players in improv, except tours, but we still get to see them on TV. I loved the idle banter, gave the players more depth, and besides, there is still a lot of wordplay, and innuendos, and much more physical comedy, a lot more of the latter. They ran around the studio, not just the stage. not everything is sex.

  • @uns33ntr4th in the earlier days of Whose Line (UK) Clive laughs quite a bit more, but as the show was new the games where more 'formal' And I think that it's safe to say (going off the bloopers of the US one) Ryan enjoyed himself more in the UK and early US episodes particularly hodown...and then got tired of the censers. But who knows? He could ahve hated the UK and loved the US for all I know

  • @uns33ntr4th

I know that its your opinion and all... but when is Clive not having fun? he has a great amount of fun in these episodes...

though he is deadpan so someone not used to that style might not notice as much...

and the show was edited for all we know there was a good ten minutes between the games :P

I haven't seen the US episodes for three or four years but looking bsck in my memories I don't think i found Drew Carey all that funny... but i do remember likeing the DCS :)

  • thanks for posting these :)

  • Clive is harder to crack than Drew..drew seems to laugh at just about everything..it's far more gratifying to see Clive laugh his ass off because it doesn't happen too often.

  • @uns33ntr4th

I think you are being hard on Clive.

I really like Clive. I find he has a lot more natural Charm than Drew.

  • @ToasterPig He's very british, it's all sarcasm. My issue is he seems to be trying so hard. My family IS british, and I just can't enjoy Clive as much.

  • Colins tie for the win.

  • @uns33ntr4th This was more of an actual game as opposed to a comedy show as it was in the US. Clive was a great host for what it was in the UK. UK & US have different flares and styles that both can be appreciated.

  • "Rocket man..." "Oh, Canada!" I don't know why I find that hilarious.

  • Lol at Colin trying to lie down the whole time on the last game.

  • yeah, this show had poor lighting. its kinda dark, the us version is brighter

  • Tony's so darned cute! ;-)

  • Genious show!

  • LOL....Colin in stand, sit and lie game....Yeah finally he was the one to lie down ;-D <3<3<3<3

  • Lol.... Tony and Steve were laughing when Ryan was doing his Shakespeare impression... XD

  • I'm form america and I couldn't understand anything from the film dub thing.

  • the sky.... the sky beyond the door is..bllluuuu

  • Ryan and Colins dirty dancing was funny as hell!

So was Tonys high pitched army recruiter!

  • The sky! The sky beyond the door is blue...

  • Clive's reactions/laughter during the hair bit with Colin was hilarious!

  • Lmao at the Dirty Dancing and Shakespeare bits!

    And Stand, Sit, Lie xD

  • All the time he wanted to lied down on the slab thing XD and barely got a word in

  • "Do you think this is the navy?"

    hahahahaha colin!

  • All these games are so short :( For about 2 minutes each.

  • That was the funniest and yet also the most sexiest dirty dancing I have EVER seen!

  • where the hell do they get these movies from? Ive neverr ecognised one yet.

  • go Colin! go Colin!

"hair, blowing in the wind" XD

  • "Annabelle.."

  • Does anybody know the first episode Colin and Ryan were both in together?

  • The first ever uk episode that has both Colin and Ryan is ep 12, season 3. First ever game is film and theatre styles, it's pretty good. Plus, Colin has HAIR! =)

  • Correction dithsun: more hair than usual. ;)

  • yes, it's the episode "whose line uk 3X12."

  • That was the most active Stand, Sit, Lie I think I've seen. They were practically diving on top of that bed.

  • Song titles was great.

  • Steve Frost is allways good in song titles

  • "Hair! Blowing in the wind"

"The sky.. the sky beyond the door is bluuuuuue."

    "Aye, it is blue."

ROFL that was awesome! And Tony's facepalm at around 4:00 was priceless.

  • LMAO, poor Colin rarely gets a chance to do anything in any Sit, Stand, Bend or Sit, Stand, Lie games - he's too busy being that guy stuck in the middle of every position.

His dirty dancing was the win.

  • oddly i found it amusing how Clive said Dirty Dancing- yet I don't know why?

  • LOL So did I!!!

  • Wow Colin here is extremely different in the way he acts compared to the US version :o !

    thanks 4 the upload

  • "do you think thats too high for me!"...

    awsome shakespeare.....

    best film dub ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO

"I cant believe this place its hot in 'ere!"...

  • ..."And that's why the French don't wash." This may be its first appearance but was also used, according to another commenter on its use in Ryan's "MadTV" sketch, in an episode of the Drew Carey Show. Hmmmm

  • @oshuhua Not just any episode. It was Ryan's very first line on The Drew Carey Show, acknowledging where he came from and that they were interesting in doing Whose Line in the US.

  • @gatoronfire4lord Thanks for the clarification; I did not remember that it was his very first line! Nice way to tie things together. Great!

  • Watch Ryan's "The sky beyond the door is bluuuuue" line again, and while you're doing that, watch Steve and Tony in the background. XD

  • "The sky, the sky beyond the door is bluuuuuuuue." Too hilarious for words!

  • Aye, tis blue.

  • lol, wtf was with Tony's voice in Questions Only!?!

    Colin's dirty dancing was wicked!!

    Stand, Sit, Lie... just brilliant.

  • oh my goodness, the dirty dancing then the shakespeare... that was hilarious

  • not forgetting the ghost reference :D

  • haha pause at 4:11........i love ryan he is so adorable and sexy

  • the first time i saw this clip i totally screen capped that. such a cheeky face! :D

  • i loooove tony slattery hes so funny!

  • What's with Tony's question voice? It's almost at tones that only dogs can hear. lol

    Very funny.

Oh, and what's with colin's suit?

  • This si the UK version. Wayne isn't on these.

  • I think he appeared sometime in Season 10....

  • 9:57 onwards xDDDDDD

  • COLIN HAD HAIR!

  • 3:48 is HILARIOUS. One of my fave Ryan moments, actually!

  • colin is a god!

  • what's the clay pot reference about?

  • It's from the film ghost, the ghost (Patrick Swayze) haunts his girlfriend (Demi Moore) and for some strange reason during the film starts making pottery.

  • I wish they kept Authors, that was my favourite round but I guess it didn't suit the new regulars styles.

  • ryan actually did authors before. he was pretty good at it though.

  • Oh, yeah, lie-stand-sit is mad, my fav!

  • The sky beyond the door is bloooo.

    EPIC WIN

  • Ryan pushing Colin out of the plane, not only do they make me laugh with physical's, but with audio too, I love Colin's scream.

And I also loved how Clive buzzed out Tony for being too high pitched.

  • I love this ep! it's my fav of all the uk ones :D

  • "The sky, the sky outside the door is blue."

    :)

  • lol, that stand, sit, lie down is one of the funniest I've seen. haha.

  • Yes, it's my fave out of all of the stand, sit, lies i've seen. It's even funnier if you keep your eyes on Colin the whole time. He keeps trying to get the bed but can't and when he finally does his face is sooo funny. That film dub was v.good too.

  • Ryan's weepy style is sooo funny! Love him : )

  • my favorite whose line 4some ever

  • i love the way colin says "o, canada!" in song titles!

  • honestly i think colin's lost some weight since then. he looks a lot thinner on the late US version of whose line compared to this episode.

  • OMG Dirty Dancing!! Never knew Colin had it in him... "It's hair! Blowing in the wind!"

  • he sounds so cute when he says it lol

    x

  • he does =]

    he's such a sweetie <3

  • Can't believe Clive was like "what?" that was hilarious.

  • Can you keep on uploading the episodes? I love Whose Line UK!

  • "It's hair! Blowing in the wind!"

WOW at Colin's dirty dancing skills.

  • Dirty dancing - FUNNY AS!!!
