I've been shooting bike races professionally for 30 years, and that is the worst crash we've ever had. It was misty all morning and rain had just started falling, bringing up all the road grease. The road was really slick! The suspension on the motorcycle was not up to the task and we spun out.
Fortunately, neither my driver, myself, nor the racer who also went down suffered major injury (we're still nursing minor wounds 9 days later). The viewfinder was ripped off the camera.
I figured they may have it on the copter view. You saw I panned up to the copter at one point. I contacted Channel 69 and asked them if they wanted the video and they never replied so I put it on You Tube. They were probably embarassed because it was their mcycle film team that crashed.
