  • Okay, serious YTP source over here.

  • Moral: This peace is what all true warriors strive for.

  • Holy crap, when I saw this in my recommendations, I thought: Hey! I remember that!

Thanks, YouTube, you actually did something good for once. :)

  • Great moral. Just be ur self!

  • @acshore86 That's almost certainly not true.

IMDB, which is usually reliable, only credits Bill Roberts with 2 cartoons - Little 'Tinker, and One Froggy Evening.

In this cartoon, Little 'Tinker, the operatic song at 2:27 is Bill Roberts, but the other vocals are by someone else.

  • what dose B.O stan for?

  • @ael0987654321 Naturally it stands for Body Odour.

  • @ael0987654321

    B.O. = Body Odor...

its one of the oldest cartoon gags in existence.

  • 2:27 - 2:45 is Bill Roberts, the singer who later did the voice of the frog in One Froggy Evening.

  • @athull08 Wow, really? That's so cool.

  • @BorisFangirl indeed, he was a nightclub singer

  • @athull08 I had no idea. Thank you for the information. :)

  • @BorisFangirl at first I thought it strange that they would get a nightclub singer to sing an operatic song, rather than a real opera singer. But then another user said that although what he sings is a real opera tune, it uses fake words, so that explains it.

  • @athull08 Nice.

  • Frankie..... gets em every time :)

  • AHAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • 4:06. thumbs up if you laughed every time

  • I have seen this for like 5 years but never fiinished, the ending was amazing

  • Moral: there's no text book on how to fall in love

  • oral: Either be yourself, or if it's also failed, dress up like Frank Sinatra and start singing smooth tunes.

  • omg... i SWEAR ive seen this somewhere before...

  • i wish i could put on a suit and sing like frank sinatra

  • 6:27 Wild take!

  • just love when the owl just die! XDDDDDDDDD

  • 3:50-3:52

"On Cartoon Network the brief scene of the black bunny yelling, "Love dat man!" during B.O.'s bid to get females (by dressing up as Frank Sinatra) was cut after 2001 for being racist. Prior to that, the scene was left intact." -Wikipedia

Racism (noun): "abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a belief." *Looks at 3:52 again*

Apparently black people enjoying Frank Sinatra is racist. I got a $5 bet, whoever said that's racist wasn't black.

  • @ninjawraith17 i'll add another $50 to the pot, guilty white dickheads are wasting their time complaining about this or mark twain. the klan gets more inspiration from bible than tex avery.

  • @saitamme

    Calm yourself.

I should have been more specific for my reasoning. Let me explain: the phrase, "Love dat man!" was from the short-lived and HIGHLY controversial TV series, Beulah (1950-53). While the show itself is rightfully considered degrading towards African-Americans I'm not questioning this. I'm pointing out that brief moment isn't racist. No, it's a reference to the show that was on at the time, a.k.a. a little joke for the adults to recognize. The Black rabbit was "BEULAH."

  • aw god, I remember this! I thought the little skunk was soooo cute >/////<

  • thumbs up if u think that bo looked like after a reel fox after all that paint b4 falling in teh water

  • why they used to make all those jokes about frank's health?

  • I wonder who won the office pool that day as to how many "Young heartthrob Frank Sinatra is really thin" jokes they could cram into this cartoon.

  • Look up moobeard the pirate,.a great funny modern cartoon made in the USA. fonephat.

  • 5:10 LOL coneja maldita como se patea la cabeza!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Tex Avery never ceases to make us all laugh!!!

  • Why are his ears pink in some scenes lol

  • Moral: There's someone out there for everyone.

  • @ninjawraith17 Amen to that statement!

  • This seems a bit to reminicent of the Pepe le pew series.

  • Look up Lucky Ducky a Tex Avery classic!.

  • @fonephat Oh yeah

Lucky Ducky, Little Tinker, Bad Luck Blackie, any of the Screwy Squirrel cartoons, Northwest Hounded Police, Three LItle Pups and Who Killed Who are all good fun

  • It's too bad that there aren't many crooners like Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby existing today.

  • @Mr111989 Nah, just talentless pop stars who'll burn out just as fast as they came.

  • @theperfectone121212 Yeah, you have a good point.

  • He doesn't seem to realize that he'd be pretty damn popular among girls if he'd do something about that stench. :P

  • Bugs Bunny + Lady Gaga = The rabbit at 2:48 XD

  • @Tozzywozzy01 LMAO... so true!!!!!

  • @Tozzywozzy01 And that rabbit definitely had a "Bad Romance"! :D

  • hey wats the name song of the sinatra singing part

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • poor Owl

  • 5:52 Oh! He's so cute holding that vial of poison! :D ...wait! NOOOOoooo!!! D:

  • Oh God that singing part got me going crazy for him! >D

  • kind of makes me feel like i have a chance...

  • That ending was awsome. I loved it.

VERY funny cartoon trough out, and with a heartwarming ending... and not only that a fucking moral: Be your fucking self.

  • The ending of this cartoon is just soooo cute and sweet!

  • i remember this cartoon too well as a kid and i love the old lady @ 4:09

  • the little unnny in 4:32 is simply cute ^^

i love the end is very adorable

  • I like this. He's like Pepe Le Pew, but without being such a rapiest

  • gotta love the ending

  • I din't know what about this cartoon is so politicly incorrect. It's funny as hell!

  • That rabbit at 2:47 was so random

  • I've noticed in a lot of older cartoons they do that "FRANKIE !" thing a lot. Who are they talking about ? There were lots of popular celebrity figures with that name is there one in particular or are they just doing a parody of famous men ?

  • @OTIStheCYCLOPS I think it's supposed to be Frank Sinatra, a really famous singer (and very thin, as the cartoon constantly pokes fun at).

  • @OTIStheCYCLOPS

Sinatra, mang, A.K.A. the VOICE. back when he began he was this twiggy little thing with a loin-melting voice, he only became manlier ever since.

  • @OTIStheCYCLOPS That would be the popular singer Frank Sinatra.

  • I love these old cartoons with messages ^^ it lets me know there is truly someone for everyone <333

  • I totally agree, these old cartoons were the greatest. I wouldn't like to be a kid nowadays just because of the cartoons made now. More politically correct but still a lot of... manure

  • So I guess the moral is to hide your true self and hope like hell when the person you finally catch finds out they like you?

Eh, who cares? Good cartoon either way.

  • The old bunny is hilarious XDXDXD

  • yeah

  • is that bill cosby?

  • he is just trying to fit in

  • I like how the fish jumped out of the pond and scurried off for dear life. LOL

  • the 2 foxes are 2 skunks

  • you ruined it for me :(

  • by the cartoons i truly believe the creator had a trumatic childhood

  • Beatrice Bare Fax = Beatrice 'Bare Facts', anyone else besides me got that pun? XD

Personally I thought the other girls were mean for dumping him just because of his scent, I'm glad he found true love at the end. I also like Cupid for trying to help despite Stinker's scent...and stopping him from commiting suicide, he was right to call Stinker 'stupid' for that.

  • It's actually a pun on "Beatrice Fairfax," author of a book of romantic advice.

  • @squaresyourtrue It doesn't make the pun any less funny though. XD

  • What kind of hat was tinker using?.

  • 3:47 now that wass gay :))

  • Is this the skunk from Barney Bear's "Unwelcome Guest"?

  • Frank Sinatra... is so thin...

  • if he wants to found a girl maybe he should use soap insted o-bouy and don't use smell cologne just later the soap do it works

  • How unfair. Skunks don't smell bad all the time.

  • Hahaha cupid's Brooklyn accent xD

1:36 Whatsa matter, Casanova? Love troubles? WUP! Just foll-ah the simple dee-rections in this book, and you're a sinch to get a goyle!

  • 3:50...that's just racist holmes

  • Its a freaking cartoon moron. Get over it.

  • i'm white you idiot...i was only being sarcastic but i guess that was too much for you to understand huh'?

  • What does you being white have to do with anything?

  • i'm white...therefore by definition i cannot be over-sensitive about racial issues...so your insult has even less of an effect on me

  • Definition? Over-sensitive? Racial issues? Insult? Your pretty hostile, aren't you? Can't a person express their views without being degraded and spat upon? Shame on you.

  • you know what you need? you need a gospel ass whoopin'...you need your ass whooped in the name of Jesus...go fuck a reindeer and just leave it at that

  • Someone forgot to take their happy pill.

  • Only Avery.

  • I love this one! The end is soooooo cute.

  • If you look at the author of the book "Advice for the Love-Worn" it's Beatrice Bare Fax....or 'bare facts'. XD

  • Geez, was Sinatra really THAT big?

  • He was one of the most famous singers of all time, actually back then swooners in general were extremely popular. The fans though were probably exagerated, not sure, but Frank's skinniness was *definitley* exagerated (he was thin, but I doubt that he automatically attracted undertakers right off the street! XD). What I don't get was where were all the raccons and squirrels and chipmunks and such? All the fans shown were just rabbits!

  • Thanks. ^_^

  • 5:06 . . . Jesus. xD

  • Yeah i have to admit that WAS funny.

  • 4:03- I laughed so hard i cried~it's so cuuuute!

  • Bugs Bunny makes a cameo at 2:50! I love it!

  • ... unfortunetly it is a girl that pops up, maybe it's bug's mother.

  • Aw I love this toon. I first saw it on toon heads on Cartoonnetwork. I totaly relate to how he feels excpt he finds a girl i don't. 1:17 emo skunk *hugs the lonly skunk*

  • cartman

  • I think it's cute how the skunk walk, well more like struts.

  • 3:00 and on is so adorable,, I think there is another toon like this but with a chicken? That sings like Frankie?

  • Yeah, a Warner Bros.WWII short where Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra both come out on top [unlike the "feud" they had and Frankie's predecence today over Bing] laying a bunch of eggs. It's "Swooner Crooner', directed by Frank Tashlin before he moved for Paramount and DIRECTED Bing, and Bob Hope, and Jane Russell in all of those moves and Bing fan and Frank friend Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis [again @Paramount].

  • ...I didn't know fish could smell !!! I love this cartoons !!!

  • AAAW! So cute that both of them were skunks and in the end saw themselves as who they really were and found true love! :) They look sweet together! :)

  • LOL the really small rabbit that says Frankie.

  • this is a great cartoon! But some of those jokes go a little too far with Sinatra

  • I agree, its like, 'okay, we get it' after the third joke.

  • LOL You should see stuff like "Let it be Me" or "Bingo Crosbyana" or others at Warner about the milestone mega-superstar pioneer crooner with the same name as a search engine and cherries, in the thirties.

  • cute lol

  • aw they were both skunks! Little Tinker found a girl! lol

  • FRANKIEEEEE!!!!!

  • Totally awesome! I love these old cartoons. They are SO much better than the dreck that is out there today. Tex Avery, Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones....they just don't make 'em like they used to.

  • Indeed! :D

  • All the great ones are truly gone. Animators of today don't know what good toons are

  • @jester99sch

What the hell are you talking about, Ralph Bakshi's still alive

  • @jester99sch animators aren't in charge of putting ideas on the table; they just animate them.

  • @jester99sch Understatement of the f---ing millenium

  • @DaMama4

Bob Clampett, Bob McKimson, Frank Tashlin, too

  • I ALWAYS love this cartoon! In fact, maybe I could do a fandub and pull a Frank Sinatra by doing that song.

  • warum ist das ein kesselflicker?

  • wasn't there a similar cartoon with the whole frank sinatra theme but with birds?

  • there were a few of those, i think. i remember there was one w/ frank sinatra and bing crosby and porky pig....

  • lol the way cupid says 'girl'

  • you mean goyle?

  • i wounder what' s the name of that song? i really like that song i have been trying to find that song but i can't find it

  • tex avery , u da man! ♥ this cartoon!

  • what was the song he was singing?

  • "All or Nothing at All".

  • If camoflauge was the only thing you needed to get a girl, every man would be married right now.

  • modern cartoons like the SIMPSONS have no real personality animation like these 'GOLDEN AGE' jobs, too many characters in modern animation all look and act the same' TEX shows today's pretenders the real McCoy........

  • my part is when he is he fell thru the hole in the floor and when he was laying in the iron lung. that's just plain skinny lol

  • haha yyeeeahhh @ ! thats the solution ..

they give you stress and temptations you give em bad smell in return hehehe

  • I'd do anything to get The Temptations. Managing a Mo-Town group seems fun!

  • Nowadays they would never have a suicide theme in a kid's show. lol

  • say wha...? where?

  • The cupid prevents him from drinking poison.

  • "LOVE DAT MAN!!" Always loved that scene XD

  • A reference to Beulah, the maid from "Fibber McGee and Molly". Good old fashioned Racism :P

Arthur Q. Bryan, an actor on the same radio show, also played Elmer Fudd.

  • Insert "love stinks" joke here.

  • transvestite rabbit

  • No...just the typical Tex Avery "nerd" character with big feet, buck teeth and overbearing personality.

  • 4:07-4:16 - Funny As Hell!!!

  • Tex era un genio como dicen allá abajo, estos cartoons me encantaban,lástima que hoy en día no salgan como estos,..Fred Quimby igual...me quedo sin palabras para describir este cartoons y los demás que hizo..mi puntuación fue "impresionante"

  • What a comedy I've seen. But I got one question. What song was he singing during a balcony routine?

  • The skunk makes a mockery of the Italian language while serenading a raccoon with the famous Sextet from Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor." - IMDB COM

  • Franky!!!! LOL

  • tex wos a genious!!

  • I am sure the Chairman got a good laugh out of this cartoon. It is that funny.

  • Fraaaaaaaaaannnnnnnkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie! This cartoon is so cute !

  • Dammit Ishoka. Upload videos of your OWN cartoons. THAT Would be more interesting. XD

  • Aww! I still love this one.

  • So glad I knew about Frank Sanatra when I was a kid. One of the few good things my step-dad tought me.

  • an iron lung!

  • Yeah when you watch a cartonn that talks or even do a scene of a celebrity it isn't as funny until; you get older and understand what it means

  • I never got the whole Frankie thing until I got older.

  • I love this cartoon

  • I remember having seen this when i was a child! I loved it! And now i that i know who Frank Sinatra is is even funnier :D

  • and who the hell is frankie?

  • Frank Sinatra of course

  • o, ferreal?

  • actually thats a rendition of bing crosby

  • that skunk wouldve had a chance to score if he didnt use so much perfume.

  • "Aaaaaall or nothing at aaaaaaaall"

    Just fantastic!! love da cartoon

  • SWOON' EM...

Tex Avary was a genius, this is a realy funny cartoon.

  • I definitely want that my kids grow up watching these cartoons
