Well, at the moment I would consider these countries stronger than Italy: England France Germany Spain Holland Brazil Russia That's excluding teams like Croatia and Argentina, who, when playing well, can beat almost anybody. Case in point: Italy recently struggled to draw with Ireland 2-2 where Australia comfortably beat them 3-0...
