  • @kassimiy1 Fighting For You" as performed by Jason Kliewer

  • OMG i so wsh i played the drums like that.. That is awesome i love it =]

  • Great control and relaxed precision!!! reminds me of myself at a younger age!

  • perfect drummer

  • precise druming

  • cool, may i know the brand of your snare head pls. thanks

  • yesasss 2 snares 1 dead groove snare and 1 open sounding verse snare thats very very very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • do you have 2 snare drums?

  • @mhcolts18 durrrrrrrr

  • @mhcolts18

    Apparently he has... o_O

  • What's that snare to the left of his hihat? It's awfull, never seen it before lol.

  • @Hanske90 Never seen it before? What a drummer are you? That's a secondary snare, which is a "natural" (unaffected by moon gel/sound suppressing rings) and tuned especially for that sound! Many drummers are using it!

  • @23aztek I'm not really a drummer :p

But i have played in many bands over the years, watched hundreds of concerts and music vids and i really have never seen that before lol xD

    Thanks though :-)

  • @Hanske90 Many bands over the years? You are 20 years old... I play drums for (almost) 20 years now and I can tell you - that is absolutely usual. And as I said: That snare is especially tuned to sound like that. ;-)

  • @23aztek Yes with many bands i mean 5 actually xD

Njah i don't know much about drums, i learned a bit of drumming at friends who drum but i'm about to buy my own cheap drumkit now. I don't have much ambition with drumming, just for fun, and still learning :p

  • nicely done, right in the pocket the whole time in the pocket

  • 2:38 en adelante se escucha muy chido

  • yeah man! this is great man! Great ideas and sound!

  • i loveee the sound of the second snare!

  • Awsome song awesom drummer, a real drummer :)

  • An example of that ten year old kid who doesn't understand what playing the drums is is Kieran Gaffney on bgt

    Watch both bits:

  • his snare is miles away lol

  • @jonnyi93 Miles away? This configuration is most used... Actually I've never seen something else. May I ask where do you have YOUR snare?^^

  • what's the song?

  • เจ๋ง....สุดยอด

  • This song is great does anyone know the name of it? Gotta learn this!

  • @jaron87floyd Read the video description...

  • The ONLY reason I drum today, this video gave me inspiration. Amazing...

  • not a fan of this style of music, but thats some great drumming. way to keep in the pocket without headphones man, good job.

  • man, good drumming really elevates the music. Just can't get that kind of life from drum loops.

  • he looks like coppercob..:D peace!

  • I just LOVE the sound of the second crash to the left

  • the second intro roll was absolutely amazing =D

  • Whats the Band / i will more

  • keep practicing it sooner or later you wouldnt even notice youre doing it, you dont have to get the exact pattern at all

  • i love how the snare sounds in this one

  • Yeah, I noticed that too, it has a very warm sound.

  • Is anyone can tell me what's the triplets pattern at 0:23,thank you first of all

  • @ Blackpuppet1

What do you mean with "what's the triplets pattern"? -It IS triplets pattern! What else do you want to know? They are a few ways how to play them. If you want to play that - practice. ;-)

    Nice greetings from around here

  • sorry,my english is not very good,i just want know how does he play that pattern,i want you describ that like L R R.L R...or it's six stroke roll or some way else.....that part sound really cool,i want learn that ,thank you

  • @ Blackpuppei1

He play that simple with: R.L.R.L.R.L.R.L.R.L.R.L.R. ...(with some ghostnotes)

  • i have no idea, but it looks goddamn easy when he does it.. sounds so natural

  • i worked on it for few days,i got it,

its just single roll R(*)LR(*)LRL-R(*)LR(*)LRL -R~

it's the six stroke roll ghost note. (*)is the accent, start from snare.some practise is really necessary,:)

  • whats the song name?

  • fighting for you - Hasting

  • i love the sound of your side snare

  • This song rocks man!!

  • Woh!

The Sabian AAX Crashes sounds awesome!

  • Basic....but-.,clean. (y)

  • esta genial... :D

  • why are some drummers using 2 snare drums?

  • cause they're making a different sound, it's for the effect of the song

  • because you can get snares that are different size and also different beads on the bottom ^.^ its like your toms, try listening to the different sounds each one makes, the on on his left makes more of a snap and echo sound, the one under him makes a dull pop instead :) hope I helped ^.^

  • the snare drum have 2 sounds.. i think each 1 have 1 sound..

  • Because-.,u-.,have-.,another-.,sound-.,to.,choose.,thats-.,why...

  • bom video

  • so fucking emotional !!! awesome some, epic drumming, just awesome ...

  • Best part of the song is at 0:57 at the second verse. That kick pattern in the beat is sick!

  • Anyone know the strokes for the fill at 22 seconds. Or if anyone could transcribe it and pm it to me that would be awesome.

  • pretty stable in hil toe technique

  • He's not the only one that uses that drumset stupid..it's a school for drummers...

  • you use too little of your china cymbal... i mean why do you even have it if you ain't usin' it?

  • haha your an idiot man wow

  • your an idiot you dont have to use every thing on your drum set in a song

  • because usin everything all the time gets old...

  • @ sunedrummer23

Because a drum set is not there to play only one song, wise guy.

    Jesus Christ people...

  • Hey guys, at 0:58 and on how does he do the bass drum so fast?

  • us using a technique called the heel toe, he hits the bass drum using a normal stroke and then catches the rebound with his heel for a quick note (usally 16th or 32nd) my preferred technique is the slide, just search slide bass drum technique! its better if u have bigger feet! hope this helps!

  • Oh, haha i tried that but it's really hard, Thanks though.

  • @ Skimmt

Well, what do you want to hear? Practice...

  • lol

  • Thank u vodkabua , I find the song ! ^^

  • who know this song name???

  • you will see it in the description: it is by Hasting called "Fighting For You"

  • Drumming should be part of the song like this is... Not soloing 10-year old idiot kid whom can't even understand what is playing drums :P These guys do what real drummer should... Enjoy,Play and help whole band. It isn't cool to solo all the time in all songs... Song is the cool thing and drummer should go like the song want's to... Whole band should go... Some solos are fine, but not all time... Remember that kids...

  • @Tunttala r u talkin tony royster jr playin when he was a kid??

  • @Tunttala I know a few drummers who play and still have that mentality that all songs should be like famous drum solos by famous artists. They don't understand the role of drums or how to chill. Especially with drums because they're so loud they can be too much if you're not thinking of how the song sounds as a whole.

  • @Tunttala it's all about what the music needs. It's probably harder to give the music a good, consistent, simple feel, than it is to throw dozens of fills over it. well said man.

  • @Tunttala Yeah, it`s called keeping pocket.

  • @Tunttala you should give 10 year olds a chance your just being a screw off

  • @Tunttala A good song has to have a good solo, a guitar solo, it feels like something is missing if a great song doesn't have a great solo. Remember that kids XD

  • @Tunttala we do that cause its cool or else its just an unoticeable part of the song that only 1% of ppl that knows music would pay attention (like and i know its right) but to have cool drum lines well i cant wrong with what ur saying its wrong to do, simply because then everything would sound relatively the same.

  • @ dudumthedrummer

You're an idiot. That's a secondary snare, which is a "natural" (unaffected by moon gel/sound suppressing rings) and tuned especially for that sound!

  • this song is really nice

  • Thats to the people who critisise

  • I very much doubt a beginner could play this to that kind of standard like what he is playing. If you haven't been playing much those fills would be quite difficult and even some of those beats.

Also, its not just the level of difficulty, but the ideas behind creating that drum line and how well it fits with the music.

Think more about the factors before saying things

    Theres my rant!

  • @ e4g1e1

They ARE Sabian and tuned especially for that sound, dude.

  • drumer are good cuz they have passion for the drum u can't be a good drumer without the love for it that a thing lots of poeple dont have they juste play it cuz they think its cool or somthin lol man drum is the best instrument even made by the man haha ill be drumer for ever ;)

  • yeah u can tell this guy has passion just look at him

  • I like the songs that they pick. So worth the lyrics and beat! And the drummers are really good!

  • Come si intitola la canzone???!!! RIspondete per favore...e grazie!

  • Fighting For You

  • hey i have a question... i was playing drums yesterday and when I was playing I played my hi-hat with an accent and it sounded weird, i didnt worry about it and just keep playing, when I finished I looked to my hi-hat and the bottom hat was like deformed and it sounds like a china now xd, someone knows why did this happened?

  • wrong angel maybe?(your stik hitting it) or cruddy cymbals? lol.

  • it does sound like crappy cymbals. Get some Sabians or zildjians 14" 's

  • possibly you turned it inside out?

  • ur hat probally just got weak from u hitting it and bent backwards

  • maybe its beacuse you didnt have enough support under the hi-hat??Maybe you didnt have enough filters under the hi-hat so it got bent or something? i dont know but it might be

  • most begginer can play this...

    i dont think so ....

  • he's shit

  • yup but it is a good place for begginers like me to start.

  • very good

  • nice one

  • This guy sort of reminds me of chad szeliga.

  • 5000k? don't you mean 5k 5000k is 5 million

  • which song is this what he playing???

  • Read the description dude, it's "Fighting For You" by Jason Kliewer.

  • Fighting For You by Hasting's

Jason Kliewer is the drummer playing to it.

  • Of course they sound good, has the good skins ; ). I have a 7peice Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage (Dark blue fade) rack kit, about $3500AUD, sounded ok when hit hard, to push over the overtone it had, (standard skins). Fitted a set of Evans EC2 coated heads, with G2' on the bottoms - AND WOOW, what a difference a skin makes. Do yourself a favour, & just do it.

  • good use of the aux. snare.

  • cymbals dont have to shine

  • ya they dont have to shine, anyway, they sound fucking amazing!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm looking for a good drum and I like this. Where is it from??

  • thats a custom made studio drum kit. unless you have about 2,000 dollars, ......yea lol

  • if a drum is bout 1,000 dollors, its a good drum.... right?? cuz i dont want a crapy drum....

  • it depends on what type of drum kit and how big. If its a 1000 dollar 8 piece then chances are no, if its a 5 piece maybe if you can tune it well.

  • I have a $500-600 drum set with stuff added on, and its good, yes most definately a $1000 drum set would be good :) I cant wait til this summer, I'm gonna get a custom made Orange County drum set, those run at about 1000+ mine is probably gonna be about 4-5000 unless I get endorsed, which I hope to do, if u dk what Orange County drums are just reply :)

  • whats a orange county drum?? lol

  • travis barker from Blink-182 plays with them

  • Well, if you're just starting out, of course I don't know, but I wouldn't spend a thousand bucks on a kit, I personally would go for a used but nice 4 piece 500-600$ Tama or Ludwig, they make some pretty good drums, but just personally.

  • It's not the Arrow. It's the Indian. You can have 5000k drumset but if you can't tune it will sound like a 300 dollar set. And also how you play influences the sound you get out of the kit.

  • its a secondary snare that is a "natural" (unaffected by moon gel/sound suppressing rings) and tuned especially for that sound.

  • you do realize that is secondary snare lol not a floor tom

  • that side snare is freakin ridiculous.

  • He has no earphones but somehow can hear the song perfectly...

  • haha thats a good point.......

  • he does

  • oh shit its a conspiracy!!!!................

  • well (not to be cool)

nut i can rember lot of songs in my head and maybe he can it too?

  • cheese thnx...i thought the title was hasting....im having a hard time finding that song in limewire co'z i thought thats the title of the song

    ...

  • yeah i have a aax sabian 14" dark crash that is unbelievable!!!!! hopefully someday i can buy some more aax crashes

  • Read description before asking.

  • 我喜歡這個編鼓內容

  • wow........ i wish i could play like that...!!

  • funny

  • aax! disregard the zildjian hats...

  • what type of snare is that? the left hand one

  • snare sound awesome!

  • hey!

    what's that ride?

    is it a hh rbdr??

  • no its the biggest cymbal

  • ?? i know the ride is the biggest ¬¬''

  • side drum rocks

  • Very Solid groove dude !!

    Your kit sounds great !!

    Good Job.

  • i poked a hole in the bottom of my snare and it sounds so much better

  • i wanna do that too...

  • This is a good drum part , played well, on a sweet sounding kit. Enough said.

  • I think the difference in the two snares is the miking. I believe that the outside snare is miked closer to the rim. That could be a guess, but I did have a question ab this.. what tom mics are those? I was thinking about upgrading. Thanks

  • i know what you mean bout the snare. sounds good. i think he's using sennheiser e604's but i might be wrong. audix makes an alright mic set for a reasonable cost. i think its something like the fusion pack or something but sm57's sound decent around the kit and are way versatile.
