  • @arnokleine623 No, a brushless dc motor has 3 coils/phases/wires. Do some googlin' ;-) I had to figure it out myself too.

  • why you can't use 3 transistors

  • @arnokleine623 Because you need to independently control which direction the current flows per coil/phase.

  • is there a shematic of the transistor circuit? i want to drive a 3 phase motor with my arduino too, but i grilled some transistors last time =(

  • @fredlllll It are just 6 NPN's, made three half-h-bridges from it, one for each phase.

  • @StijntjheYT what? XD sorry but that doesnt says anything to me =/ i got an arduino, which provides 3 phases, so 3 pins switching from low to high. when hanging the motor directly to the arduino it turns very slow.
