Heey chevyburnout1 i am just woundering is that a radar dector on your dash? If so what kind is it and how do you like it does it work?

Its like a $60 Cobra. Had it for about 5 years, the speaker blew out in it so the noises are horrible sounding. It works as well as the $40 cheapo ones. I really don't pay attention to it anymore.

@chevyburnout1 So does it really work? Have you ever been pulled over for having it or using it in your truck? And were can i buy them? I cant find them and every store i ask says they are ilegal or give my funny looks?

It'll detect radar but it also picks up a lot of other things too. So you gotta learn which signals may and may not be a cop. Has it kept me from getting tickets? Yes. Have I still gotten tickets? Definitely. If a cop wants to catch ya they still can.

They're not illegal here in Colorado. They may be where your from.

If the cop has their radar on and pointing in your direction then yes more than likely it will pick it up. However cops also know how radar detectors work and a lot don't turn their radar on until u are in range. If they want to get you they'll wait and point it right at you then turn it on. By the time the detector goes off it'll be too late.
