in the manga there's no sign of any deeper feeling, no blushing and no valentine card, but Bleach also have a lesbian character (Chizuru) so it acknowledge homosexuality (not many mango do) that mean there's a possibility for a closer relationship between those two, but not yet.

One thing I find strange is how forcefully people constantly try to avoid thinking a character can be a lesbian. Lets be realistic, about 15 % of the population is homosexual, this is a lot. Isn't it logical to believe that if a person seems to have strong (actually obsessive) tendancies to like someone of the same sex, it means they CAN be gay?
