Hey, I have a 1991 LT250r, and I replaced the top end and the spark plug, and the oil case gasket, but it wont start, does anyone know why? Please!!

@tattddeb Maybe your stator is bad, did it run before you did all that work?

you probably have no compression anymore and if so you TORCHED it when you didnt break it in properly the piston and the cylinder have to adjust to each other for a little while before riding hard thats why u break them in

hey i got a 87lt250r that i got for $300 but it waz blown up. and the shop down here wantted $600 to pull it a part and then then thos fucker wantted $600 to putt it back in so i side go fuck your salf. and i have nevere worked on one in tell i got it. and overy all it come out to a lil overy $450. ps for all of you banshee riders lt250r well well smoke the banshee i have bet one and it waz a 4 meal.and all i have on it is a full fmfpipe and a carb.

@ctreml speed-wise yes. But keep in mind 2 strokes have to be rebuilt more than 4 strokes. so keep that in mind.

@mrATV1983 So true, the only thing that sucks about 2 strokes is having to rebuild them so often, but it is all worth it in the end. 2 strokes are so simple to work on too.

@Adamcky90 dont forget though this 2 stroke motor is pretty simple to rebuild and alot cheaper then say the new fuel injected race quads etc. Even that 01 400ex you have to mess with pumps etc. A 2 stroke is a very simple motor, if you get a lt250r just pick up a haynes manual for it and you'll never be stumped on a repair. Anyways nice video and very nice condition lt250r I like how it looks totally stock and it looks crazy fast!!

@Adamcky90 no problem props again for such a clean lt, Im hoping to pick up a similar condition one within the next week or so. Ill post a video of it if I do get it. These things are nearly as fast or as fast as some of the new 450's anyways!! Only downside to a 2 stroke compared to the new efi quads is they burn more gas but no big deal/ Hey is this your yard or something looks like a great wide open lawn to ride on

whats up? You could probably get a full fmf exhaust system from rockymountainatv, they sell alot of good stuff. Thats where I buy my stuff from. The handguards were on the quad when I bought it, you could probably buy those from rockymountainatv too.
