This definitely is Stochelo at his very best, I really love those "behind the scenes" videos!!! Thank you very much for this very inspirational video and if I may say so:
The camera work is just brilliant and really in a great, very much alive documentary style, that provides a fantastic impression of the master himself and this famous guitar!!! I wonder why he sold it.... The incredible Selmer 504...
Haha, actually I was thinking exactly the opposite. I loved the camera work because I've never seen #504's soundboard from so many angles before. They become as unique as fingerprints the way time changes them. What a truly beautiful instrument in the hands of someone who truly deserves to play it.
MMR, I am normally not one to make requests from someone who has been so generous with sharing with the community however, inquiring minds would love to more know about that guitar, given its' rich history.
I've learned bits and pieces of its' history from the web over the years but I (and others) would love to hear the story in stochelo's words. (hint, hint)
Again, thanks for sharing all your vids and your contributions to the community.
shameless self-promo mode on : he talks about it in the movie that goes with the Trio's new album "DJANGOLOGISTS", digital download only from the Rosenberg Trio's Official site... shameless self-promo mode off... But I'll make the man talk about it too someday on this channel, good idea ;)
camera work however needs major attention, camera man needs to stop moving around trying to impose artistic creativity to the shoot, Get both hands in the picture set it and forget it (like around 3:20)
Cameraman know that a tottally still shot quickly gets boring, so camera man moves around and it's not easy to stay on focus, climb stairs or walk around among cables and not to get tangled in or fall offstage. Camera man tries to survive in order to film the next shows.
I actually appreciate the dynamic camera work. Done pretty well. You can tell that some places you're dodging wires on the ground, other than that very interesting and well done.
Cameramans fine and man the music pheeewww....=)

LOL Camera man does what he can.
Camera man TRIES to get everything right...

To make it short, don't shoot the Camera man :D
