  • Nadal really struggles against players with good backhands..

  • After this match he losed with del potro ¡

  • @martinr345345 nadal won indian wells 2009 after defeat murray in the final

he lost to del potro in miami 2009 not indian wells

  • This match was abso-freaking-lutely outrageous.

Love that Jim Cavaziel was in the stands @1AM cheering for Rafa.

People were tweeting that "Jesus is on Rafa's side!"

    Un-freaking-real match.

    I was there.

  • @esquibelle LOL. That's funny, since Rafa is an atheist.

  • WTF match of the year

  • Nalbandian was getting so much depth on his shots in that first set!

  • Before I saw this match, I had thought that Nadal is an asshole; after I had seen it, I knew he was an asshole.

  • @TheElcondorpasa1 asshole? ¿por que?

  • @coltranehunt For not losing, my friend, for not losing.

  • nalbandian has a weak looser mentality

  • nalbandian gave all the tennis players a lesson : how to beat nadal

and nadal responded saying : you all gonna need a litle more to beat me

great tennis match from both players !!! but nadal prevail once again

where is nalbandian???????he is a great player when he wants to be

  • Nalbandian sinply shocked... he had a lof of match points, he should of volley at match point and finished the match but he stayed at the baseline and got murdered.

  • wow fatbandian, give him 20 mp he will lose them all.

  • Stamina over (wasted) talent, basically sums up tennis for the last couple of years.

  • @ownthelaws Unfortunately talent alone doesn't cut it with tennis anymore. An example such as Richard Gasquet. This guy is beyond talented but if he can't keep up like the top guys, it's gonna be very hard for players like him to constantly be on top of their game.

  • @Frenchazn94 Agree

  • @ownthelaws couldn't agree more with you. The pure talent that Nalbandian has... he waisted it over the years never trying to improve mentaly and physicaly. I feel robbed because of this. He could have been the one to dominate since 2001 to 2010 instead of federer. He has the game to beat both nadal and federer, but never really tried to improve the other aspects of his game... really sad. I watch tennis for 20 years and like Nalbandian's talent.. it's very rare to see that... and all waisted

  • Sick volley 3:14

  • Everytime i see this match i feel like nalbandian is going to win... somehow i think one day when i watch it again nalbandian is gonna win :(

Damn nalbadian shouldve win a slam and be number 1 already :(

  • Incredible how he won this tournament... he'll always have a problem with Nalbandian

  • good tennis from both players i really like it. Nalbandian in top form and rafa than you see the best tennis you can see.......................... .-D

  • wow. wow. wow. Nalbandian had this. gotta give Nadal props for not given up to Nalbandian.

  • Well, Nadal got one hell of a mental.

But holy sht, Nalbandian just struggled back then, you cant tell anything else.

Dont tell me that wasting a lot of easy serve returns (when he's supposed to be one of the greatest returning player) and being so passive on his own shots has something to do with Rafa's though mind.

Just dont put Rafa strong mind everytime he come back...

  • Nalbandian = Dementieva

  • @nikerep13 that's bullshit

  • Yes, we all know Nadal's tough like an oak mentally. However, after having never seen this match and watching damn near all his matches this year, I was unbelievably frustrated. He had SOOO many opportunities to come to net. I was (mentally) SCREAMING at the screen, "GO...TO...THE NET!!!!"

Man, so glad (and surprised) that his game has evolved so much to the point where he's an incredible volleyer as well. Those who say he's not as good as he was in 2008 are kidding themselves!

  • Nalbandian é o antípoda do Nadal.

  • Nope, I comment a lot on videos of guys who actually mean something in the game like Federer, Nadal, Murray. And I hardly ever start a conversation, I usually respond to guys who I don't agree with.

  • Im not even a die hard federer fan, i always supported safin but then he retired and watching tennis without any favorites is lame

  • nalbandian´s game matches up well with rafa´s playing style, to bad he couldn´t close this match out, but credit to rafa, for alway´s hanging in there and never giving up.

  • This is right up there with the Roddick match at the USO. It's absolute BS that Nalby manages to waste so many MPs only to end up losing in the end. David's had a frustrating career.

  • nadal's slice is fucking awful.

he should be fined everytime he plays a slice.

  • more than that i think this is why nadal´s win gs and nalbandian did his job quiet right but nadal puts pressure and actually nalbandian and federer for me are the only players that could handle this guy also like davydenko does..but nadal works too much

  • I like David's game but this match is probably why he'll never win a slam.

  • Nice to see that some stupid guy had it all wrong about Rafa not winning matches. Yes of course his physical issues but he plays so many matches because he goes further in more tournaments than Roger, who just seems to care about slams and who blames him for that nowadays, breaking all those records. But Rafa is still hungry and keeps improving, gotta love him for that.

  • By matches like this Nadal's career won't last long

  • yo creo que en los peloteos nalbandian se asegura la ultima pelota para definir.

  • The most obnoxious number one ever. A dark age has begun for men's tennis.

  • @msouzafon1 no ur right, we want our nr 1 to be a grown man that cries when he loses or makes excuses (i quote; tough conditions, injury, injury, injury, it was too dark, too many rain delays etc etc).

i never got why ppl always hated this dude so much, everytime he lost he was very gracious and everytime he won the same, always saying nice things in both situations. he litteraly gave that other 'man'' a shoulder to cry on during that debacle lolll.

  • @msouzafon1 Your about 6 years too late to Post that :-). Thankfully we seem to finally be out of the dark age... or at least starting to leave it

  • Nalbandian definites baselines like a pro, shame his tournament results never show it. He's definitely got the talent, like when he fucked up Fed at US open 2003 and at the beginning of this match. Hopefully he wins another tourney

  • I can't believe Nalbandian hasn't won a slam.

  • who is the asshole of the crowd saying "out" two times'?...

  • Impresionante NADAL!

  • wow... that is a damn good turnaround especially against Nalbandian.... Runs like hell but don't know when the moter will run out.

  • nalbandian is a genius

  • Nadal was quite lucky on some matchpoints actually...

  • mañana se cobra venganza :D

  • HOW DID HE KEEP HIS COOL?! man, this is just one of the reasons why i love him!

  • Unbelievable.

  • steroids my god,who gave such an idea.

  • Rafa Nadal = never gve up

  • @chowlokhang its the best in rafa :D

  • @chowlokhang David Nalbandian = choke

  • Rafa was treating this like a grand slam final

  • Nadal will win the french this year and at least one of the clay

    court masters.

  • hahahahaha o dude you are dreaming. He won't even play the final..

  • im not sure about your idea. i mean come on. its nadal on clay and you have to win three sets to beat him? im interested in whos going to beat him. and by not being number two in the world theres a chance he'd play federer in his bracket. so whos going to beat him?

  • Well first of all.Nadal is not a same player anymore.First he's knees are done.Second he's not using steroids anymore and trust me he used em a lot.I know I used them to only I didnt compete nowere. And now he's finished.I love Rafa a lot but let's face it he is done.

  • how are u so sure he used steroids?

  • he was only injured from the ao because of something that could oh happened to anyone. if you didn't know he had a minor tear in his tendon. and about the steriods. seriosly? its called working out? even if it was steriods the atp would of stopped him because of the intense drug tests they give. also rafas first roland garros title was done while he was still a teen. so he doesn't need muscle to win.

  • @binaryhex1

he was still buff even then lol.

  • Winning Monte Carlo, Rome, Madrid, breaking the record for most ATP 1000 titles in history in the last 2 months by the age of 23? I love Rafa a lot but let's face it you're a fucking idiot.

  • @Saberq1 No, not at all. his body type is not from any type of drug. that is natural, a very strong geno-type muscular genome. insane atheletes in his family along with normal hard gym time to be pro. his body looks nothing like someone who uses steroids. nor anyone who actually lifts hardcore

  • @dan72155

I think Nadal will win more titles on clay this year, because opponents seem to be very weak this year and Nadal will give 200% after bad start of the year. but we will see if Murray can improve on clay and if Del Potro can be even better than last good year. I don't think that Federer will competetive before French. and Djokovic's case... well I don't know. He is very weak right now and I don't know how he can be no 2. I hope it will be good clay court season :)

  • @GordonekXP i think soderling can be dangerous

  • Nalbandian's style is Nadal's style's kryptonite. Every player has that. Djokovic's and Murray's games match up better against Nalbandian. The current fitness/form of a player that has that can affect it to the point where the kryptonite is not effective enough.

  • by matches like these Nadal's knees are fucked up, I could understand such determination if it was a semi or a final of a slam or at least the final of a masters

this guy is just plain dumb, he plays without thinking about the consequences, I don't pity him at all that he's all fucked up at 23, he deserved all this shit

  • Roger Federer has the best phisycal condition of the tour, that's obvious. He's the only one to be n. 1 for six years and be able to play almost every tournament.

When Nadal reached the no. 1 he didn't even stay one year in that position.

  • nadal sure held it longer than you have.

he doesn't really care about how he is ranked anyways. its a prevliage to be the number one male tennis player in the world for sure but being number isn't his goal in life.

  • @89Pleasek Your comment is very offensive. And might i also say dumb itself. When you are on the court, you are supposed to be focused and in the moment. He may be a bit screwed rite now, but it's mostly not for the reasons you stated.

  • what other reasons can you think of?

Explain it to me, then-why did Nadal take a 3-month layoff from tennis, came back in the new season (better than ever - everybody thought) and caught another injury in the second (!) tournament after his comeback. This is sick.

I read an article about all this stuff - the doctors say if things are as bad as they look, Nadal could be out of tennis for 3-6 months (skipping the French Open and basically the whole clay court season)

    The guy is fucked up.Period

  • @89Pleasek As I said not mindless as you would imply or dumb. Obligations - to certain tournaments, may be to himself, to his opponent, and others. A part of him also wants to play, and believes he can handle it. Plus hard courts are tough on a guy who grew up mostly on clay.

And here you are trying to make him sound like some careless, bloodthirsty savage, when the truth is just the opposite. He may also just be a lil obssessive compulsive. Can't do anything about that.

  • nadal understands that the way he plays is harsh. hes said that he can't imagine playing into his thirtys.

but when you think about it, hes acutally been a pro tennis player for seven-eight years, has six grand slams and becoming the number one tennis player in the world. thats more than most people can say about themselfs.

  • nadal out of tennis would be a sad thing for me because he kinda got me into it. but its life. like you said. his body is pretty thrashed. but that body did so much for tennis and the world not to mention earning over $25 before retireing. sounds like a nice retirement to me. : ]

  • @binaryhex1

Love how he proved fuckheads like you wrong. Real fans always believed in him.

  • @89Pleasek so what happened? Nadal was going to be out for months. He was finsihed, done and dusted. How did he magically make a comeback and become no 1 again?

  • WOW ! truly a thrilling match, especially @ second set.. that is incredible, 6-0 for the 3rd set. Nalbandian DID dominate most of the match, but Nadal's consistency is forever x[)

  • k bestia ese nalbandian oeee!!! xD

  • I don't like the way Nadal wins his matches. He's worse for 80 % of the time, match point down, saves a couple of them and then goes on to win the deciding set easily. So many examples against Murray in Ozzie Open, here, against Almagro, Robredo in Paris Masters.

I don't like the way he "cries out" his matches - it's all mental without any abilities involved. He's got the mental strenght of a champion but will never have the game of one. Just like Borg never had.

  • yeah!! Nadal always wins his matches saving match points. It's really annoying to see comments like this. I recommend a video to you. You have to look for it on the Youtube archive: Nadal Federer AO 2009. Why?? Because Nadal is more than mental strength. He really has a lot of technique (his forehand and his backhand passing shots are a trademark) and he has good footwork. Ah!! Murray never has had in that match any match point.

  • Man, Nadal's technique is poor, really. I've got no doubts about his mental strenght, speed, stamina but his technique is the worst in the top 10 for sure. His trademark topspin was made not because he's a genius - it was to cause problems to other players - that's why he plays left handed although he's right handed

Nadal won most of his matches against Fed mentally.Anyway,Fed in the Ozzie Open final played rather miserably. His serve % was poor and commited like 50 +unforced errors in that match

  • who are you to say that nadal technique is poor?? In my opinion, Nadal has great defense abilities and he has a lot of power in his drive. Do you know how difficult is to generate that kind of topspin?? Say that to Federer, he generates similar amount of topspin (about 2800 rpm while Nadal generates 3300 rpm) those facts are obviously an average. The max from Rafa I think that is about 5300 and 3800 for Federer.

If you don't have a good serve one day, you must have another skills

  • You just denied yourself again...

I know Nadal has great mental strenght, excellent defensive skills, but his technique taking purely into consideration is poor. He doesn't generate so much spin because he's a genius but because he was taught to do so by his uncle to win easier.

Take Nadal's speed away from him and he becomes an average Top 50 player. But take Federer's speed away from Roger and he'd still be in the Top 3. Nadal is all about fitness and training, Federer's about technique.

  • hahahah! Don't make me laugh. Nadal ONLY wins because ha has a lot of mental strength and was trained to generate that kind of topspin to win easier?? That's ridiculouos. Nadal has a lot of great skills at the back of the court. He has improved his slice, his volley, his serve... Now is a complete player.

Federer depends on his serve. If he doesn't serve well one day, he will play really poor. If Nadal doesn't serve well, he has another skills from the back. He is capable to return any ball.

  • omfg listen retard

stop comparing mental strength to technique, what are you 12?These are completely different factors about ones game

nadal has to rely on his speed and stamina cause his serve is miserable, did he ever serve over 190 k/h?I can't remember once he did that

Of course youre going to improve your slice and volleys when earlier they both sucked terribly

Wtf Nadal a complete player? He can't hit a flat forehand and youre telling me hes a complete player? Im more complete than him

  • Which tennis shot does Nadal play better than Federer?

    The forehand? Lol...

    The backhand? Pretty much even

The volley? Federer's way better at the net

    The serve? Whatever...

Slices, half-volleys, drives go in fed's favor.

Nadal is a product of fitness and hours spent on the gym. You can have 10 more Nadal's by telling them to visit the gym every day but you can't have another federer.

If Nadal has so much skill, I wanna see him win majors at Federer's current age of 28. We'll talk in 5 years

  • Take Ussain Bolt a racket and he would play better than nadal. Oh my FG.

You're saying only general strokes. If you revise Wimbledon's stats you will see that Nadal fastest's serve was at 128 mph. And another thing is that SERVE IS NOT THE ONLY ASPECT IN TENNIS.

Federer has a great flat forehand but Nadal has a better spin forehand. If you compare their backhands, Nadal's flatten is better than Fed. And yeah, Federer volleys better but Nadal has a lot of touch in theirs.

  • 1)Ok, I'll change it then.Acceleration matters more than speed itself. The court is not 200 metres long...it's all about footwork, concetration, keeping the eye on the ball and then speed..

2)Yeaaaa Roddick's fastest serve was 155 m/hour. So what? His average serve speed is around 130-140 m/h. Just as Nadal's average speed is 110-115 and Federer's 125 m/h

3)Nadal has a better spin forehand cause that's how his all forehands look like....and Fed's flat forehand is better cause Nadal can't hit one

  • K, final thing to clear your mind up. I said Nadal's technique is poor as far a number 2 player in the world (former no 1).

His technique is not so bad whatsoever but for a Top 10 player standard it's pretty average. It's getting slightly better each year but not that much.

If Nadal has such a great technique in your opinion I wanna see Nadal winning any slam at Federer's current age of 28 when he's 20 % slower and less endurant.

  • And the last one is tha who are you to judge Nadal's technique?? Are you a former tennis player?? Have you arrived to Nadal's play level?? Sorry but you don't have enough arguments to say that.

And for sure, in a couple of years if you want, we will talk about Nadal's success in tennis

  • wtf, is a player's technique saint so you can't say a word about it?

that's why discussion was invented, mate

Nadal's forehand is a very defensive shot. His serve is average. His volleys are poor (for a no 2 player in the world- for a Top 20 standard it's ok), I hardly see him play any dropshots, drives or backhand smashes (only when he;s forced to).

It's the power of his shots, the spin, his speed stamina and mentality that gives him the advantage. It has nothing to do with technique tho

  • Any 'take someone's (insert something here) argument is crazy, because there's no logic to what's being taken away besides personal preference. A weapon is a weapon. What if we decided to take away Roger Federer's forehand? Or maybe Rafa's forehand? Oh yeah, then they'd just be top 50. Rafa generates so much spin because he is the only player on tour gifted enough to generate such racquet speed AND time the ball so that he doesn't shank it. Incredible hand-eye coordination/strength.

  • Well if you take Federer's forehand away from him he still has excellent footwork, great serve, solid backhand, tactics, volleys. Nadal is all about speed.

You can see it now when he has knee issues. It tells me everything when a guy takes a 3-month break from tennis, comes back and catches another injury after, like, 10 matches.

Ima take my hat off if he stays in the top 5 for the next couple of years or at least wins 1-2 more slams.

  • @89Pleasek But that's not my point. Even if I agreed that Nadal is a chiefly one-dimensional player, that in itself is not enough to discount his talent as a tennis player. Even if her were all about speed, he still wins - taking away the thing that distinguishes him to somehow diminish his ability is senseless. There are plenty of players who have plenty of talent, variety in their games, yet are unable to win matches. Murray, for example, in 2008 and 2009 was the perfect example of this.

  • @89Pleasek But beyond that, Nadal is NOT all about speed. There are plenty of fast players on tour, it is not just that is fast, it is that even when in defensive positions, the mechanics of his forehand and raw strength/balance enable him to hit winners. This is a talent in itself. Additionally, I don't understand why speed itself is a skill to be derided next to others. But what if I follow you on this path: Nadal minus speed.

  • @89Pleasek Well if I do, then you've still got one of the most precisely placed forehands on tour, one of the most powerful (crosscourt) backhands on the tour, some SERIOUSLY underrated volleys, and a serve that, while not fast, has enough 'work'/spin on it to be effective at preventing the opponent from attacking so Nadal can work the point. As for tactics? Remember, Nadal hits to Fed's backhand 90% of the time, so why doesn't Fed just figure it out? Because Nadal knows when NOT to.

  • i partly agree

one thing tho - if youre right, then well see nadal winning with his super shots when he has injuries all the time. remember fed playiing with ankle/back injuries or straight after he got mono?

he reached the masters cup final in 2005 barely losing to nalbandian, won the australian open in 2006, he gave a run for the money for murray with a back injury at the masters cup event in 2008, he reached the ozzie open final in 2009 and lost mostly because of his low serve %...and...

  • and how about federers game straight after he got mono? ozzie open semis losing to djokovic being in the shape of his life, french open/wimbledon finals, he hardly was kicked out from a tournament before the quarters/semis.

how about nadal playing with an injury? absent at the masters cup 2005 and australian open 2006, several withdrawals from stuttgart and smaller events, 4th round of the french, withdrawal from wimbledon, we hardly see this man play with injuries cause hes

  • ....cause hes uncapable of playing at least well when he isnt 100 % and he proved it on several occasions.

btw of course his technique is not that bad, otherwise he wouldntve played in atp events, but mostly thanks to his speed and endurance hes in the top 10. lets see how long can he keep up cause it seems hes on a downfall, unfortunately for tennis.

without nadal around federer might be winning everything again and tho im rogers no 1 fan i wanna see nadal in shape, federer needs a big rival

  • Nadal has proven himself capable of playing well with injuries - Nadal played with injuries before last year's French Open and had surprisingly good results. To be honest, his technique is mostly irrelevant to me, pros seem to be exempt from those rules b/c of their results, and technique in itself does not have enough value to allow the criticism of a player as inferior. Additionally, I'm not disagreeing that speed and endurance are important parts of Nadal's game, only that

  • In true fact, if nalbandian was 3years less than his present age and if he had the energy to last, he would have won easily.

  • Partita rubata per la serie giocare fino all'ultimo punto.

  • Nalbandian would have won indian wells if he finished off nadal 6-3 6-3 or 6-3 6-4 which he should have done, but NO, he chokes and he dies. real credit to nadal for hanging tough tho, thats what i like about him -- strong mentality throughout long periods (which nalbandian doesnt have).

  • i felt so bad for nalbandian in this :(

  • cmon rafa, this is how u should be playing not the way ur playing right now!

  • Vamos Rafaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    mind mind mind....

  • que jodido el nalbandian debio haber ganado

  • he's come back from being down 2 sets with Federer; don't understand how he let this happen.

  • "that was a very nervous game from david nalbandian" - the commentator and everyone not obsessed with rafa

  • this shows how tough nadal is mentally

  • @terminator8338 it also shows how nalbandian choked like never before

  • @terminator8338 both of them are, nalbandian couldnt close the match, but nadal have a lot of respect to nalbandian, in three matches, david won two and could win this one having 4 match points

  • nalbandian's racquet head control and anticipation... rediculously amazing... why is this guy not in the top 3?!

his baseline? well no need to comment there, the eyes can witness.

  • @gabe228 I admit he does have one of the best game out there when he is in form. 2005 Master cup final was perhaps the best you'll ever see him play. However his game doesn't have the fire power to allow him to remain consistent compared to the top guys. All the top guys can win on a consistent basis mainly because they can switch game plans, and rely on huge weapons (huge serves for example) they possess even given a bad day when everything else fails.

  • this was biggest choke i've seen. He blew multiple match points at 5-3 in second set on nadal's serve and a match point on his serve or more, and then he got owned in the tiebreak and the third set.

  • I hate to see how a defender player wins a match....I really hate it. Nadal is a "ball-returner". Watch how many winners he really makes in a match. His "offensives" shots makes the rival miss...not a clean winner, and that´s a shit. I hope Nadal finally broke his knees so that I don´t see him again in a court, it wil be good for tennis.

  • sorry but your mistaken. Nadal is a grinder but hes not like murray just waiting for a mistake with the inability to put shots away. He pulls guys way off the court with angle topspins and finishes.

Just wish Nalbandian was more fit / less injuries because he should have been in the mix for GS titles. Definately a top 4 player.

  • @carjulxxx Dude... you think Nadal is bad? Should check out Gille Simon. He's the absolute CANCER of tennis. A mere parasite. He's the one that should break his leg and retire from tennis.

  • Nadal is just playing the perfect tennis ...

In my opinion tennis must played in Nadal way it is so excited comparing with serve & volley way

  • fat dave screwed again by a line call

    lol

  • Nalbandian is one of those players who i think with his sheer talent he COULD be number one in the world, but i don't think the work ethic is there. he clearly gave up in this match.

  • ATP Choke of The Year :)

  • 4:26 pqp.... Nalbandian toys Nadal

  • I lost two grand on this match. Still don't know how.

  • cant plan for chokes

  • All you nubs need to stop making excuses for Nalby, just like you do for Federer. Rafa won fair and square and bageled nalby in the 3rd set. You can be damn sure if Federer saved 5 match points vs Nalby then bageled him you'd say, "omg greatest comeback ever..the king..the lord etc.Stop saying Nadal is lucky and boring or plays ugly and give the man some damn credit. Just like we can give Fed credit when he wins. Nadals style of play is his style of play. it works for him so stop cryin about it

  • nadal WAS lucky in this match. its called a fucking choke you complete idiot. if this isnt a choke, then there's no such thing as a choke. he was in control of the match but stopped when he had match points. nadal didnt do anything different to win the match, nalbandian choked it away. fed fans probly would say he 'couragously came back' but they wuld also be WRONG. and nadal style IS damn ugly, his slice is disgusting and that forehand is hideous

  • first off dont call me an idiot. i know what a choke is. Nadal played better than him and matched him throughout the match. stroke for stroke. watch the video. a match isnt 1 and 1 and 7/8ths of a set. its 3 sets. what was the score in the final set? yeah his slice is disgusting and the forehand is hideous. I'm sure you've got much better strokes. or at least, you're certainly gonna tell me who has. who could it be? bye.

  • guess this is why everybody is so afraid of nadal

  • when Nalbandian is on his game he can beat any body, but rarely he is.

  • Nadal is a lucky dog!!

  • Nadal= f.cking lucker

  • Is a joy to see Nalbandian hit a tennis ball.

  • If you see the shots... Nalbandian is the best... Than Roger... Than Rafa, maybe...

  • Roger > Nalbandian > Rafa

  • Yes, ever since I saw Nalbandian in that Wimbledon final (it was the final right?) many years ago (2002 or so?), I always believed he was one of the best players I'd ever seen. If he could keep up his good level of consistency I think he could be 1 in the world.

  • 5 match point.....mah.....

  • nadal just puts the ball left to right back and forth

  • this is exactly what im talking about. ofc there's more to nadal's game than that. there's plenty of other players on the tour who do the very same who wont and will never have 1/4 of the succes rafa has had. give the man some credit and stop making excuses.

  • good video, you have a pagina which this video available to discharge it in this quality, plese, sorry for my english

  • i acknowledge nalbandian because he defeats nadal 2 times before with BIG WIN. Even roger couldn't defeats nadal like nalbandian did. The way he returns the ball very brilliant. But now Nadal proved he is better Nalbandian. Nadal forever!!

  • good video, you have a pagina which this video available to discharge it in this quality, plese, sorry for my english

  • Nalbandian can be such a brilliant player. He's able to produce spectacular points, and his game is complete. if he could be playing like this more, he would be in the top 5 again. It's a pitty he loses focus sometimes.

  • massive chokefest by nalby. nothing new here...

  • Nalbandian is a very experienced player and one that Rafa found difficult to play against. But he is a more mature player who has improved his game to an unbeatable level. No player in the world is any trouble to Nadal. Not anymore!! He is simply the best player of this century!

  • Nalbandian did not crumbled but Rafa overpowered him!! Rafa is feared because you can never sure to win; he can change a match in a spectacular way -- as he did here. He started a little apprehensive because Nalbandian had never lost to Rafa but soon he knew he was loosing the match and reacted! That is Nadal power!!

  • i dont agree with you, nalbandian owned nadal completly until he arrived at match point, where he chocked.

  • Why would he choke against someone he convincingly beat twice last year? He couldn't keep his level, while Nadal elevated his own. That's the problem when facing Nadal, you need to keep your level extremely high all the time, otherwise he will take advantage of you.

  • he gave up in the3 final set hense why hes never won a slam ghe just gives up after comign so close

  • didnt choke??? on 3 of those match points he missed 3 returns... didnt choke?? you = blinded by nadal bias

  • he missed 3 returns therefore nadal was serving therefore nadal was in control of those points. because they were on his serve. the player whos serving is generally thought to be in control of who wins the point. providing they're good that is. you = a twat

  • that statement would be true if every player had ivo karlovic's serve, dumb ass.

  • rafa's mental strength is incredible... nalbandian crumbled in the end

  • no words... just great
