I really thought the Leafs should have picked up Chelios for one year, and I really wish we would have taken a chance at Nikolai Zherdev.

Chelios would have been a great addition as a healthy scratch or even as a third liner, I'm sure he'd have a good influence on Schenner and Komi, as well as being pretty solid albeit slow.

Zherdev I think would have been a nice not too expensive option for a bit more offensive firepower.

Alas, Brendan Shanahan is my favorite player, wud have luvd that

why Wallin is still on the team I have no idea, to me he didn't even have a good training camp but he still made the team, he now is on the team and sucks pretty hard, but he's still there. As for Schenn I actually want to see him out of the lineup, I mean the team is losing if you keep sending the same guys out there, they are gonna keep losing so they need to scratch some people (wallin, kulemin, and schenn) and bring up hanson, stalberg, and rosehill.

Leclaire won that game, but jesus christ, the Leafs could not break out of their own end. Why were the Leafs never forechecking? And why are we paying Hagman $3million? He looks like so much more of a tool live than on TV. At least Finger's doing his job for that money. Hagman just feels the need to make the most ill-advised play at every moment possible.
