  • Nice flying,I'm planning buying this aircraft. But as I saw, landing speed is still bit too fast for my taste(last plane was EPP mid-winged acro) Do you think that with their vectored trust modification you can get lower minimal speed? Or maybe just push weight more to the back?

  • hey camera guy , shut yer piehole

  • drag is equal to velocity squared. if you can go 110 on 650, great. 1300 watts, though, won't get you 220. it'll get you around this area of speed. basically, the faster you want to go, the more drag you have to overcome. Lots of people cram around 1800 watts in and only get 150.

  • for about 1100 watts, a draggy intake, and barely closed off tailpipe, I would argue that this 130 is pretty damned good.

  • That bird must be a power hog! It seems a little ineffiecent though.

  • Very inefficient but it was purpose built to go as fast as possible with as much power as possible.... Efficiency was not a concern on this build.

  • No, your setup seems really inefficient. Only getting 125 at 1400watts/80amps. I'm not advertising for anyone but with a Eflite Delta V-15 at 49 amps on a 4s, you can get 110mph at 650watts. Or use a het setup.

  • Kudos to the camera man for not zooming in and following it pretty well.

  • cruddneck i will post next week!

  • great vid mate that squall is great ive just built one with cc 80amp 6904 fan with het2w20 and overlander extreme 2200 4s with thrust vector yet to maiden!!!

  • thanks. I will be looking for a video of that..

  • @F222RST i wanna see it!!!!!!!!

  • @F222RST i wanna see that!

  • your cameraman has diarrhea of the mouth. haha

  • got any vid of the 5000mah? I bet it'll go a bit faster... haha.

  • what kind of fan could you get that can withstand that kind of rpm's?

  • fan is a HET 6904 and ARC 1t motor

  • very cool and fast, love it :)

check out my Squall conversion to a pusher

    good stuff nice flying

  • Thanks!

  • holy moly, 6s! Demagg? haha thats an unloaded rpm of 94k! Glad I'm subscribed! Can't wait to see whats next

  • It will either be very fast or an amazing lawn dart at 150mph. ..either way, it will be entertaining and we will have good video.. I might have to put a different fan to handle 6s.

  • try it on 5s!

  • Hi, thanks, I might skip the 5s trial and go directly to 6s... I have some nice 6s 2600 that would just fit in perfectly :).. I am just afraid that the wings will not hold.. I have tried it with a 4s 5000..and it pulls 1700-1800 watts at 125 amps!
