dude i did the same shit and it sounds awesome! the only problem is i got the entire axle back system for an sti and it is about 3 or so inches shorter. i have the axle back on now and i'm getting the pipe extended to fit my 06 2.5i. i'll post a vid when it's done.
I haven't got it on a dyno, but while driving I don't really notice any power increases. The loudest point is at around 1.5k RPMs. I haven't even got up to 60 yet with it, I live in a small town at school and no reason to get out on the highway.
it's really not much louder than stock when you're in it, but it sounds a lot more throaty, and it looks 1000 times better than the tiny ass stock one.
@peqy an axel back won't give you any power increase, neither will a catback usually despite what an exhaust companies adds will say. unless your running full 3'' exhaust a cat/axel back won't make much difference.
