  • Thank you for this video. I couldn't figure out how I was adding stitches.

  • That was a very useful video but I was wondering if you had another answer... if I already accidentally increased quite a few rows back is there any way to correct without having to redo all my work? I only have one extra stitch and I hope there is a way to safely drop just one stitch? Thanks!

  • Hi Ashley - it sort of depends on what you're making, and if the "fix" will show in your work. You can decrease by one stitch by knitting two together (k2tog) to get your count correct again, but if you're trying to maintain a stitch pattern, where you do that k2tog makes a big difference. It's difficult for me to give you really good advice without seeing the mistake with my own eyes!

  • @verypinkknits

okay well my knitting has a pattern but at this specific point I haven't gotten to it yet, right now I just have to knit 26 stitches for a few rows, I think it should be fine as long as I can get my stitch count down. Oh and thank you for the speedy response!!

  • Thank god for this video...I just went from 24 to 29 rows!

  • thank you sooo much for this video.
