  • Meike MK-80N3 intervalometer on Ebay £15. Does the job.

  • Thanks for the video - just got a 7D and just getting into photog - used this exact same setup to complete my first timelapse - THANKS!!

  • does anyone know if this works with other cameras other than EOS. For example a canon G11?

  • my 7d did not come with proshow gold and I don't think it's free if their is indeed one for mac. how ever I was able to use final cut express and so far so good

  • @strongsads1 : yes, u can do it on a Mac too as long as you have eos utility disk installe

  • Great! I'll make one with my lovely 7D shortly!

    Thanks

  • I am going to do this but i have a mac connect to my camera. will this still work?

  • thanks

  • is there a way to have time intervals betweens photos on a 7d without connecting your camera to a computer using eos utility?

  • @Gzkopp

Remote controller TC-80N3 is good for shooting time lapse by 7D.

  • @Gzkopp Best way is just use the TC-80N3 as mentioned above, which allows you to shoot intervals of 1 second for an unlimited number of shots and an almost infinite variety of timer, bracketing and interval combinations. Great anything incl. fast and slow moving subjects. I use Lightroom 3 to adjust/edit the photos - you edit one photo and all the rest sync automatically, then use Adobe Premier Pro which recognises sequential stills and makes a fully editable movie in HD.
