Thankfully, he was holding a camera in front of his face, so he didn't take the truck directly to the face. He was FINE, thank god, but I've been paranoid about spectators ever since.

@nightshadow7451 The plastic surgeon said that because the wife had given me sugar to stop me fainting I would have to wait 6 hours before surgery and then stay in for 2 days, the other option was to work on me straight away but I would have to stay awake the whole time, I took the 2nd option, which is how the wife got the chance to take a few photos.
