  • did u not try to put 24 frames per second? Animation of water and wings of a bird is not realistic.

For water animation I suggest a RealFlow(more realistic), and try to use a Skin modify for the wings.

  • Tried this book out but fail to follow a tutoring lessons - I might say its definitely not a good one for beginners - I would say for advanced level. It doesn't explains everything in detail just a guide book that you follow - rest is up to you - which is fine but not for beginners. (Of cause its just personal experience nothing more nor less)

  • Job Well Done!

  • How long did it take to create the main house?

  • Sup ab awesome no words

  • reminds me of the smurf village

  • Too peacefull! What kind of witchcraft is this!?

  • awesome! the water could use some rework and also the sfx's are way off

  • The render quality is what impresses me, Good Job.

  • Great!! It was very amazing!!

  • sweet dude this will lead to work fo-show

  • MIS RESPETOS,,, MUY BUEN DISEÑO SOLO FALTA UN ASUNTO REALISTA Y ES EL AGUA QUE SALE DE UN PARTE ALTA COM SE UN ARBOL SIN VENIR DE NINGUNA QUEBRADA NI NADA Y EL SUELO ESTA A UN NIVEL MAS BAJO.

  • WOW, that was very awesome! Thanks for uploading this and sharing it! Is it part of a story? If not, it should be. Great job!

  • amazing hats off!! to do this 3ds max or maya?? which is better one to start with??

  • @santhosh04fabre Thank you. We use 3ds Max & V-Ray for the rendering engine. For architectural visualization (our field) we primarily use Max over Maya.

  • WOW!

  • How long did it take you to make this!? It takes me a week to try and make a simple blocky looking house!

  • @DrOctagonapus117 Which part? Hard to answer about all of it because of multiple people creating the scenes & rendering it.

  • WOW Brian and is team are at level MASTER this is so powerful it like a dream come true,

  • The water simulation is bad, but the rest looks really cool, GJ.

  • @SBareSSomErMig Can you explain to me HOW IN THE HELL it looks bad?

  • @DrOctagonapus117 It doesn't LOOK bad, it's just badly simulated; the water splashes out of the wheel in chunks.

  • awesome colors and you gave it a real peacefull vibe.

working on a steampunk project myself :)

  • very inspiring, nice

  • seriouslt watched this like so many times and i still have my jaw dropped this is amazing

  • how many hours did it take?

  • @david199722 Which part? Hard to answer about all of it because of multiple people creating the scenes & rendering it.

  • that looks good.i would have bought the book if it didnt cost a hundred bucks

  • @momopirou Right now it's not. It's on sale for $75.

  • that was beautiful

  • bom

  • I wanna live there!

  • @antishaban your not the only one

  • Thanks to everyone for their feedback. If you've bought the book and worked on the scene files provided, please let us know how your scene turned out. Thanks!

  • is it come with the book? i got project files and map in the DVD but i didnt see the book..where is the book in dvd?

  • @aftereffects00 You lost me. But I'll try an answer the best I can. The book shows you how to create the scene. Included is just an example of the scene being animated by the creators of the project. For more information, go to the link in the description.

  • wow

  • Like it. Waterwheel is and under and overshot tho which is bizarre :)

  • excellent job

  • nice

  • I had the :O face for 35 seconds.

  • That is so GOOD

  • Hmmmmm..............!! i seen it befor! i tink it was in my dreams!! shit this just got damn scary! o.o

  • Man that grass on the roof must have absolutely killed your render times. I assume you rendered subsets to make it more manageable.

  • DAMN

  • i made a stick figure and was proud

  • This is very nice work you have created. Are you looking for a project for a cause?

  • amazing concept

  • wow wat a beautiful sophisticated composition. btw wat kind of rig do u need to handle dat properly? i heard the more effects/polygons there are, twice more ram u need. but funny is one of my friend in Y12 UK he's trying to write a library scripts extracted from different 3d engine languages, as he prefer to go the nerdy way by making a 3d program himself rather than using a pre-made one, but i have to say without using 3ds max, he ill never achieve ath close to this on his own lol.

  • nice but there is no room for books in the digital age

  • @viralfunnies A few thousand of our readers would disagree :)

  • @briansmith3dats yeah...well it's a dying industry denial or no denial

  • @viralfunnies i think it's like email vs regular mail. you said no room for books, but that's like saying no room for physical packages through the mail. definitely crippled but it will never completely die out or be completely obsolete.

  • @briansmith3dats the difference is mail is a physical medium, but knowledge isn't..anyway I prefer watching video tutorials because it feels like I download the knowledge to my brain instantly..you see the mouse move over the interface step by step, it's like sitting with a private tutor..

  • Nice work! :)

  • how long did it take?

  • The water physics make everything look small like a toy or a small model. Water behaves just like that only in small amounts and scale.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooow Very very very beautiful :)

  • good job

  • whoa 2011 is better than 2010

  • how much did it took to render and what specs

  • how did you done water ?

  • @TheYaseenin Read the book and you'll find out.

  • @TheYaseenin

    probably glu3d

  • whose software you use for render? and you make this completely in 3d max?

  • @princlia Most of it was done in 3ds Max using the V-Ray rendering engine. Other software used is listed on the 3dats One Project link shown in the description.

  • @EatShrimpPro Tens of millions.

  • ^_^

  • wow nice

  • wow super. bhai . how made it ?

  • viva pinata

  • Absolutely amazing. Indescribable.

  • awesome !

  • I almost spit my drink, wow

  • frickin awesome, thats all ive got to say, i wanna do stuff like this so badly

  • good:_)

  • must'v took ages to rander

  • please please please help me out !! i am using high config comp but when m trying to animate my product its getting black at the end or mid....:( hope to get support from your side please.. i am architecture student so using home designs and all!

i am using vray sp4 ( 1.4) using vray cameray with vray sun.. still not getting my animation proper... please help me out..?

  • @faizdodcom Upgrade your Vray, version 2 is out now.

  • such a beautiful quaint looking house. I WANT IT!

  • really nice

  • beautiful....I want to make a like this movie.

  • nice work is it a step by step tutorial cus i'm biginer

  • HOLY SHIT!!1! THAT LOOKS AMAZING O.O

  • thats what mekes me hard nowadays

  • Whao!!!

You mst be kidding me. This puts some in Awesomeness.

  • niceee

  • absolutelly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know much about animation and the like, but very cool, shows that you don't need to have a huge production company to make something if you wanted.

  • ...how...

  • reminds me of the intro animation of "rise of Nations" Game.

    Good work!

  • Nice to see a book from start to end. But in this video i felt some parallax issues.

  • Very good 3D, especially liked the sun and simulation of water, a Sand Blaster? VRay gives amazing results in realistic rendering!

  • Awesome

  • Simply wonderful

  • This is beautiful, I love the textures!
