hi there i just tried the program with a 555mg mts file, i choose maximum quality flv , 30fbr , 1280x720 and it converted my file to only 264mg the quality is good but file a bit to big.After i tried the same but instead of maximum i choose high definition flv and drop my 555mg file into 86.6mg thats great but the quality of image is really ugly. Did you lose quality image when you shrunk the 0.98gb file into 68.7mb?? please help me, how come i dont have the same interface with the program i got

Have you tried using this converter to reduce a huge, edited video file that will be about 2 hours long and burned onto a DVD? The average DVD media only holds 4.7GB. But when editing an HD video file that you want to be 2 hours in length, the size will be much larger than 4.7GB. How can it be reduced to fit?

it appears that you can just change the file extension from .fob to .avi. the freeware supports conversion from .avi.

another question: the files are split into multiple 1 gig .vob files:

video_ts

video_01_1

video_01_2

etc.

the ts file must open first and then sequentially call the other files?

Dude, I know that Youtube can only accept 100 MB, but my file is 130 MB, I used the Format to flv and the thingy is very high, it made my file to up to 350 something MB.

You don't understand what I said, I set the converter to make a swf file instead of a flv, the 705 meg file became 475megs as a swf file tho there was some degrade, it has a white background and it is more centered in the center of the screen instead of letterbox format of they original file. when I tried the same thing but set it to flv it came out over 700 megs which is larger then the original.

well, I just tested it on a 705 meg avi and at only 20% fin it was already at 710megs thats larger then the original file.??? I did try it on a 356 meg avi but made it a swf file and that fin at half the original file size tho it had a white backgroung insteal of black.

You're supposed to view the flv file, not the swf file... Was the flv smaller?

I can't seem to get it to work(I mean the compression). I used it on a 356meg .avi file that after converter was 346megs the 10 meg difference to me is not good enough. I did try it on a 1.9gig mp4 but at the point when it was 10% fin it was already 485megs and the 1.9gig mp4 is not even HD.(the 1.9gig is 720x480)
