I overclocked my evo 3D, to up to 2.0 Ghz and with, the perflock the phone last, like 250 hours, standing by, and up to 6 hours while on internet, with only the charche of the last night
my evo is rooted n i have things on my fone 2 underclock n overclock the fone 2 preserve battery. Idk how the iphone function yet but i can leave my fone off the charger using it like a college student for 18hrs b4 it say low battery.

Phones have The only reason desktop computers can safely handle overclocking is that ricers can add extra cooling equipment. Overclocking without that extra cooling system can permanently destroy your CPU. Even OCing a PC is stupid because the extra cooling costs as much as the difference for a better CPU.

It won't update when it's below a certain battery percentage, and you can just restore your phone's firmware yourself (well, not everyone can, but it can be done).
There are so many false facts that you claim about the HTC Evo. The only way you could brick your phone when the battery dies during an update would be when you are trying to update the OS. Even then, you can simply restart the update when it has power again. Also, why the heck would you do an update when your phone is almost dead? Another thing that you mentioned, but as a negative, is that you CAN replace the battery. Something that the iphone doesn't allow...

I went from an HTC Droid Incredible to an iPhone 4 in the past week. All though I miss flash, I don't miss the sorry battery life. It would die after 6 hours of use or no use. My iPhone 4 is still alive and I am using it right now to make this comment and it has been off the charger for now with 40% battery life left going on 15 hours.
@pongdadong - there's this thing called an extended battery...really, doesn't cost much...battery life is like 2 days. THEN, you still get all your droid features and the battery life...TA DA!

I've had an HTC Sensation for less than 24 hours. The screen locked up 4 times. After configuring my 7 home screens, it decided to undo them all. Eventually, so many apps were open that it didn't play my music, so I had to go into task manager and kill apps first. It randomly assigned my photo as album art. The camera is so contrasty that it blackens shadows and washes out bright spots. The ear plugs are made for King Kong sized ears. It can't continuously hold WiFi.
glad my EVOs battery can last all day(w/ flash), most of the people talking about the battery haven't even owned an evo just heard other people, and most of the other people dont realize that 4g and flash use more battery, if you turn off 4g and flash(options the iphone doesnt even have) then the battery lasts even longer, but of course iphone is better because it doesn't give you the option it just forces it on you, who would want to have choices? it'd require thinking! iphone fanboys are funny

Eventually, so many apps were open that it didn't play my music, so I had to go into task manager and kill apps first. It randomly assigned my photo as album art. The camera is so contrasty that it blackens shadows and washes out bright spots. The ear plugs are made for King Kong sized ears. It can't continuously hold WiFi.

glad my EVOs battery can last all day(w/ flash), most of the people talking about the battery haven't even owned an evo just heard other people, and most of the other people dont realize that 4g and flash use more battery, if you turn off 4g and flash(options the iphone doesnt even have) then the battery lasts even longer, but of course iphone is better because it doesn't give you the option it just forces it on you, who would want to have choices? it'd require thinking! iphone fanboys are funny

@ATLMember yes it is, the new iPhone 4S is using outdated hardware already and they're still releasing it, the iPhone 5 will be outdated and they'll still release it, Apple don't develop hardware for the future, they develop it for now, so that you have to give them more money to 'upgrade' later on.

Apple are loosing the phone war now with Googles android market, apples store only now has 25 thousand more than Google's market and apples iPhone was around 2 years before android was launched . So if you do the mathematics, Google will overtake apple in apps plus there are more choices of devices that use android, and with the poor excuse of the iPhone 5 only being a firmware upgrade and being called the iPhone 4s then its bye bye for apple lol.

In the end, I like the fact you can customize Andriod cuz its basically open-source linux, with iPhone (Apple in general), you have to live within their walls and pay out the ass when they introduce someting better, which is just small enhancements.
