My husband bought this vacuum for me today. I used it today. We have wood floors and rugs. I vacuumed my rugs and it looks so much better even the wood floors. I usually swept the rugs and the floors. When I used this vacuum I could not believe the dust, etc that was in the vacuum. In my opinion I like this one.

why is the suction on the vacuum uneven?? I just got this model and the entire left side off the vacuum without the roller brush spinning has very little suction, not even enough to hold a piece of copy paper. for almost 400 dollars i expected better..... should i return it?

@dmbfan07cb yes return it and try getting another dyson, dc33 is one of their worst models, try the dc25 ball

@dmbfan07cb dc17 and dc28 have a very aggressive brush so its best with pet hair

This DC33 has a higher waterlift rating than the DC28 Animal.Thats very impressive!

Another good review.I really wish you guys had some thicker carpet to test your vacuums on for your carpet test.Most Americans have med. to plush thick carpet and that would be a nicer test to see how they do on it.Finally someone does a full review on Dyson's cheapest upright:)Thank you.A really good performer!
