  • I don't know if you even care about people's opinions anymore, but I'd say you look more like Sparrow and are the better Jack until part four of Andina's saga where he stops sounding like Jar-Jar and actually does a decent Sparrow impression.

    Get the accent down and the little eye squints and you'd be the victor. I think you just need to spend as much time as Andina (clearly) spent watching the movies over and over.

  • okey..thi was pretty good XD the chest..head..shoulders thing was kinda..eh..but the fall at the end made me laugh pretty hard. so that made up for it i guess. "will you look at that! i found some rum!"

    not bad mate. keep it up keep gettin better. This is from over a year ago, so im sure youve improved sincde then..goin to watch the rest of your vids. wooooo!

  • You do have a good voice for this impression, and the accent is good as well. You seem to lose it in places though, when the monologue becomes a bit choppy. It's almost as if you're a slow computer and the vid card is skipping. The more fluid you are, the better the impression of jack is. Finally, the bit at the end was a chunk of real humor and I like it. Very nice. (sorry for the multiple posts, stupid char limit!)

  • Keeping Jack's posture in mind will help you come off with better mannerisms. Your arms do look a bit stiff here, you might try dropping your elbows down towards your chest and using more of your lower arms for the hand waving and gesturing, keeping the wrists loose.

  • 'Allo, poppet. I've been hanging around actors since I was rather young, so I figured I might forward a comment or two to help you better the impression.

    I noticed in this vid you have a little trouble with your body language. I don't know if you were slouching or if it's the shoulders on the costume, but it makes you look sleepy rather than a bit buzzed (as Jack does). Keeping your eyes open a bit more may help that, as well.

  • Remarkable! That Jack Sparrow is spot-on. I highly recommend going to a convention of some sort, whether it be anime or comic, and being Jack for a day.

    1. He shouldn't move his hands so much. Jake Sparrow twirls his wrist slowly and points.

    2. He should talk a bit slower.. he is speaking to quickly. Though his voice is very dead on. Tell him to concentrate on more of a british accent.

    3. He needs to drop his jaw a bit.. it helps.
