It's just a really depressing and frustrating irony that I'd love to live someplace like that, I wouldn't even care if it had an internet connection or other nice things available. And they'd like to have more people, but I can't because I'm a foreigner, who isn't fluent in Japanese, doesn't have more than a Liberal Arts degree, and little money to compensate for that.

The United States economy isn't great right now anyway, and I'm struggling to get by in my own country.

Sigh.. it's times like this that truly make me sad that it's so hard to find work in Japan. It's hard enough for Japanese people to find work so I understand why they'd want to make it all the much harder for me. And you need a working Visa to work there, and for just about any job, any job at all you need a Bachelors degree. And I only have a Liberal Arts.

A long time ago, you separated a Japanese-dedicated channel from Tofugu and made Tofugu an English channel; I remember you made a video explaining it, citing a book you were reading that involved building a brand, etc. I'm an artist and programmer and am very interested in building my own brand, but the problem is that I tend to centralize everything I do, so it's a mess... help :(
