I suggest to all Americans that they look back to the times when there was prosperity and look carefully at what was different then to today.The two periods readily identifiable as times of great prosperity were the mid-to-late sixties and the late nineties. JFK implemented these tax cuts at a time when the rich and the well-to-do were paying their fair share of taxes. He cut the top tax rate from 91% as it was under Ike to 78%. In those days, CEO and executive salaries were a fraction of what they are today in real terms;

Initially I gave this speech a thumbs down and still do but my comment and rating immediately disappeared. I think this vote may somehow be rigged. Income taxes must be abolished in totally in support of the principles of liberty! Settle for nothing less! Lowering income taxes by 10% means that you are still a slave and that the slave lords are only lessening your slavery burden by 10%. We should not be slaves!!

JFK cut the maximum tax rate to around 75% when the economy was fairly strong and the budget in the black. Bush cut the rate to the low 30's when the economy was in the crapper and wrecked Clinton's surplus. Yeah, the two situations are reeeeeaaaaalllll similar.
