@vanutra The natural disasters are always happening. They just seem to be ramping up because you are getting older and starting to notice them. The sun always behaves strange too. There was a solar storm over a hundred years ago that set telegraph offices on fire. Elenin looks like just another comet to me.

This is the kind of thing i find fascinating. You've gathered things that are quite common in human history and added them up to mean some kind of drastic change is comming.

As an adult I have lived through quite a few "end of the world" scares, and as a History major, I have read about several more. Nothing remotly close to that ever happens. As a student of astronomy I find nothing to compell me to believe that this is any different.
