If you look at the critics angles, Tekken gets ratings that are just as good, if not better than VF. I'm a fan of both series', but I personally prefer Tekken -I'm not going to throw a hissy fit over someone else's preference either. Each game is loved for it's own characteristics by different people. I think that explains enough. If not, you might want to enroll in Elementary School again.

I prefer Virtua Fighter 4 in his first version, I really don't like VF evolution.

I think that the best 3D fighting games ever are the first Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast (a masterpiece), Tekken V on ps2 and Virtua fighter 4.

Virtua Fighter gameplay is VERY hard to manage, it can take even 4 month to learn and remember well the basic techniques of one carachter. Fights are always different and every move can be decisive.

Why does every VF post have a "tekken rules" mention in it?

And if you don't believe tekken copied vf, heres the rundown:

- Customisation

- low medium and high attacks

- low attacks and throws beat normal block. medium attacks and low throws beat low block

- throw cancels done by pressing throw + direction of throw

- reversals (back and 2 attack buttons when opponent punches)

- dodge up and down the screen by pressing up or down

- roundhouse kills dodge

- any direction twice = dash

Well, I guess it's too late to reply to this comment but I'm still inclined to do so. I opened this video to see VF4 intro and just saw the comment. As far as I can think, the ONLY feature Tekken adapted (NOT COPIED) from VF4 was customization/ranking. The game system and strategies of these two games are totally different from BEGINNING and do not apply to each other. Therefore, Tekken's attacks, reversals, throws, throw-breakers, dodges and other moves (and their input) are NOT same as VF/VF4.
