Yes, Robert's a great lyricist but this song was written by the drummer Kevin Hayes and his brother Chris. The keyboard player Jim Pugh is also a fantastic writer. Too much talent in one place!
He plays and sings great, but something that doesn't seem to get as much attention is what a clever lyricist he is. You can get drawn into his stories even if you don't care about chops.
