@SkittlekittenNG Thanks! My only suggestion is to write and draw like yourself...meaning, tell stories that you are interested in and can easily talk about and write without having to do tons of research and prepwork. Likewise, with character design, make characters that you can draw easily in all different poses and flow easily from your hand...
This was amazing, I've been using that approach in my stuff lately too, though big curves while inking takes forever for me! This is why I wish upon a star for a cintiq tablet everyday, When i'm inking frames in Flash on my tablet, it's a whole lot of control+Z'ing most the time to get the curves I'm happy with. haha, Do you notice Flash slow down a lot when you have animation with only brush strokes instead of doing cut out animation?
@tonym27 Hi, thanks! No the file sizes still stay pretty small, I don't notice any lag at all. I had the same problem when I used to use a Wacom tablet, that was one of the main reasons that I made the switch...it was well worth it!
Thanks, this is great. I need to try an all Flash approach for animation someday... I find some angles just tricky enough with my Wacom (intuos3) and Flash's drawing tools too marker-like for scratchy early drawings and I end up chickening out :)
=) good work, i like how you can alter the line weight to help create form and make the cartoon look intresting and stylized. Did you use a cintique or just a normal wacom?
What smoothness do you use?

Man, you always have great stories and fun characters. What is a good way to approach character design and writing?

wow I really enjoyed watching that. I love the confident lines.
It was also great just seeing you add in the little squishy face details

@ncross I was wondering the same. Is it even possible to have this kind of control without a Cintiq?
