I know people have said this before but i'm almost 100% sure that the elves in fantasy and the eldar are connected and not because they are similar! U know that there was the exodite eldar who left for a new life before the fall and went to planets far away. Well what if one group went to the warhammer fantasy world (pre Imperium Terra) and forgot alot of their history? Theres somthing to think about. From THE IMPERIUM LOL

They have the same gods, and since the world of WHFB is supposed to be one of the worlds isolated in the Eye of Terror, this is the best explanation available. Also note that WHFB elf mythology tends to correspond to pre-Fall Eldar mythology, as if they'd survived the Fall but been isolated since then.

However, it doesn't work with stories about the Slann, Old Ones and the origin of the major races of WHFB... but this might be mythic distortion.

haha eldars are quite annoying in the game cuz of theys ability to teleport buildings and make them invicible(the camouflage)and so of course theys weapon speciality so if u play the eldars right u can kill every enemy no matter the number but if u play them wrong get ready to be killed XD cuz eldars are really hard to play in coparison to space marines wohoo eldars rocks

lol yeah i think eldar is one of the hardest faction to play in DoW(probably 2nD after Dark Eldar). Their units are mobile & fast and got many abilities, therefore they require vast micro.

Luckily thei units is still "quite perdictable" and got fair decent base protection (ie. stealth, turrets, building relocation ect) which DRKeldar dont have making it the hardest faction to play(DRKeldar)

They are weaker now in soulstorm, becaus you must destroy more buildings to win. Before there was a single rule: A good Eldar attack brings victory after four seconds. Six are allready too much

ahhh Eldar.....takes real finesse to win with these boys and girls...trust me...they really are a beautiful army to play with if you know how. To me, the 'noob' armies (for want of a better term) would be armies like space marines, fairly good at almost everything, good armour, you can afford to be a complete idiot with them, which is normally what 'noobs' do :D

tau used to be a bit noobish, but ever since they got their codex redone, they are awesome. Mecha-tau kick an awful lot of ass. and Eldar are by far one of the hardest armies to play. if someone kicks your ass with eldar, its because they really know what they are doing, not because they're noobish with good luck.

Eldar is too arrogant to consider cross species breeding. Their empire may have fallen but they would not just for survival crossbreed.

I don't think that they CAN crossbreed, at least not with humans. Remember that the eldar empire flourished whilst human ancestors "crawled on their bellies out of the sea", and therefor humans and Eldar aren't even closely related. They'd have about as much chance to crossbreed as we have to crossbreed with crabfish.
