How to set up CycloDS Evolution

Hi I've downloaded V2.2 for my DS Evolution and added it to the root menu of the MicroSD card, but when I put it in the Evolution and into the DS nothing happens. I also can't see my games in the games folder (CycloDS/Games) nor select my skins (CycloDS/Skins). My current software is V1.4. I've had no problems for a long time but I also haven't been using the Evolution for a while. Not sure what is wrong :s any help would be greatly appreciated!

@K1mandt0m Hello mate! Follow this:

1 - Delete the CycloDS folder

2 - Put the latest stable update.evo file on the microSD root

3 - Plug the CycloDS into your DS (with microSD inserted) and hold down DOWN+B to force it to reinstall the firmware

4 - If that works, try installing the latest beta (if you want to)

The DSTWO is alot better. It works on any DS lite, DSi / XL no matter if its the newest firmware. All games work on it. And it has a SNES / GBA emulater that work on an onboard CPU. we sell the DSTWO through our channel with free world wide shipping.

i got the ver1.54 and I don't know how do I enable the RTS "real time save" feature I really want to have that

To activate the RTS feature you must hold SELECT while the game you chose is loading, if done correctly, when you press A,B,X,Y,L, and R, you should see the feature there. Hope this helped (:

god i really wished i would have watced this video when i got my cyclods.

i had to figure everyhing out on my own.

that includes moonshell, updating firmware, patching games, and using the cheat system

No, it's not possible. The CycloDS firmware will only work with a CycloDS. The DSTT has completely different hardware.

It was an alright video, but there are a few points you should work on:

1)You dont need to explain every little detail to us, we're capable of reading, thanks. Only the necessities.

2)Skip through tedious load times like the update; nobody likes to sit through those and it just adds on to the size of your video.

3)Speak up! You're too quiet through the whole video, I nearly had to max my volume just to hear you.

4)A little emotion couldn't hurt.

Otherwise, good job.

I thought it was a good video. Sometimes it's good to explain all the details (ok maybe we don't need to know how to put the microSD in the USB reader!) but at least we know there's nothing he missed. I thought he was loud enough, and sometimes emotion ruins a tutorial. You get distracted easily. Lastly, I do kind of agree to skip past the update parts, but in my case I could just fast forward right past it. So again, no big deal. Great video.
