The first time I heard this song in it's entirity I had to hold back the tears because it has such a strong emotional side to it,

I'm in the process of trying to import a peterbilt 379 from the USA to Australia, mainly due to it;'s the model Patrick Swayze drive's in the movie, He was my favorite actor and always will be, when I get a 379 out Here I'd love to turn it into a tribute tuck for Black Dog and Patrick Swayze, Love the movie and love Patrick swayzes acting talant

@my90tp I built a model of it in 1/87 scale (the grey one) and then found out there were several versions in the movie. One is a black 389?? There are a few Petes running up and down the Pacific Highway, but I don't get to see them often. Hope you get her here my90tp :)

@forkdriver500 I actually saw one coming back from Port Macquarie on the 14th of august actually, I was driving and got exited started looking at it going AWESOME a peterbilt and took a photo (not good while driving), But I worked it out I can get a 1993 - 98 model from the US for under $20,000 AUD import it convert it to RHD make it ADR compliant and registered in NSW for under $45,000 or buy one thats already here for a minimum of $88,000 with minimal or no rego

@forkdriver500 I know where wauchope is the home of Timbertown, I have an aunt and uncle in Port, Nan In Bonny Hills, another aunt and uncle and Pop are in Dunbogan, Love the Area up there I'll be moving up shortly (just waiting on my transfer for work change of depot etc) cant get up there quick enough hate leaving I'm currantly in Blaxland (lower blue mountains) going to do the tree change for the Sea change. It has to be the best area in NSW the NSW mid north coast

I love this movie for a reason , the vehicle that I wanted most isn't a Bugatti Veyron or Mayback 62 , but a Truck ... no matter a Toyota Tundra or a Peterbilt 379 , I'm just always dream to have one . Driving truck is a tired job (my father is one , but a med-small-size one) , but I don't know why I kinda dream to have that kind of life .

@moialex13 hand i understand your dream, and how it sounds great, but truck driving is a long lonely job to have. i spend my life away from my 1 year old son and 21 yr old fiancee, i never see them because i'm working constantly, it's an ok job for a single person but for someone in love it's torture, but if you wanna follow your dream i wish you the best of luck everyone should be able to dream and have it come dream. my dream was to become a truck driver and now i am. so good luck hand. 10-4

@XxHeavenlyRejectXx That is the absolute truth and that is why I quit the OTR life. Constantly worrying about the wife and my nerves shot to crap all the time dealing with life on the road. You work almost 24 hours a day and if you figure up all the ACTUAL hours you work and not just logged hours, you're making minimum wage or less. Keep 'em between the ditches, freight hauler.
