Christian was raised in the city...when he got bigger he went to Africa...BOY the lion had to test him and Christian "submitted" to him being the king and after that They were INSEPERABLE until BOY HAD TO BE PUT down after killing a worker. BUT when they were together they were very loving...

Since the cat was not raised in the wild, it is a poor fighter. Look as it unsuccessfully attempts to maul the two humans in an attempt to show his pride that he is loyal to lions, and not humans.

The long was said to become the leader of the pack of where this lion was left to be raised, so your assumption is a little false. If he wasn't loyal to those two guys that brought up this lion since it was a child, the lion would have killed them.
