Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed they're touring arena shows with Rise Against too. It sucks. Wht sucks even more, is that Rise Against is headlining!!!!........but lets not go crazy, and call them sell outs. They're friends with Rise against, and they're still Rancid....although Tim did a band with Travis Barker, and sold a song to a shampoo company...

No one in Rancid has/had cancer. There was a cancer scare at one point, but was discredited by physicians in 2006. Brett left because he retired in a sense- he loves the band, but his heart just wasn't into Rancid anymore. It's cool to see people cared about the drummer though, he had some talent and I'll miss the original lineup for sure.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. They say that but when it comes down to it really happening. They just replace Brett likes he's a nobody. If I was Brett I'd be pissed about this whole speach that Lars gave about family first and band second. Hypocrites. Also you can tell Tim is Drunk. This new drummer by the way..he's a chump. Emo one day and punk the next. He's a fake.

Well, c'mon we don't know the full story here do we, all we know is Brett chose to leave the band and he may not even be pissed at all. Infact, the guys & Brett may have discussed this other a long period of time and came to the decision together, ya know what i'm saying? plus it's easier to just get a new drummer rather than start a new band.
