  • I have a huge bump apparently in my humerus where I have a bone cyct because of what my mom and I suspect is the bone. What I am concerned is the treatment of mal-union. I will be having an operation for my humerus soon and wish to know if this can be fixed by my ortho without pins or anything. Please reply, I am scared and do fear the worst.

  • Helped me to understand repair of bone fractures! Easy to understand. :)

  • rofl unbeliveable that another video about the human body results in a discussion about wether god exists or not

  • yep thx nature it had the smarts to be able to repair bones, i shattered my tibia 2 yrs ago and my leg pulled through i feel so lucky i still have my leg below the knee cap :) oh and the doctors that put it back together again with a rod and screws ;p

  • The Lord be with you all! :)

  • I believe in God and science. I believe there is a happy medium. You can not force people to think the way you do nor can you make them feel the way you do. After all God did give every body free will. @ jesuschristrulesyou Haven't you ever heard of intelligent design? You make all Christians look bad when you make statements like that. So please as a common courtesy to other human beings think before you speak.

  • @ jesuschristrulesyou it is sad that you project your own fear on others. That God and science are mutually exclusive is bs. It is evident that also people who do not pray heal their broken bones, and if the body is made in such a way that it heals itself, isn't this just part of "Gods beautiful plan" if you believe in God?

The ... or ... is not a fact, sorry. I hope your religion helps you to live a good life, apart from inspiring fear and condemning others.. good luck. (why am I trying?)

  • The next time you put too much stress on the bone it would likely not break again because of the extra bone.

  • typical christian. our bodies heal themselves. i will not give credit to something that obviously would ignore others with more serious problems and would tend to my broken had.

thats very christain....believe in it or you will pay....so much for an all loving god...

    science heals people....religion kills people

  • @AlexPanacro your so right man and it also says in the bible that children with my condition should not be aloud to drive or marry. and we are not humans

btw im design firecrackers check out my channel if u want my designs there ideas

  • hey. that's a good explanation right there. thanks. :)

  • hell yeah nature! thanks for the ability to repair bone

  • dude thats fuucking bull shit and you know it ...thet big yellow thing ... thet stays with you for LIFE!

  • After the formation of the hematoma and recruitment fibroblast ,oseoblast and osteoclast please, what is the exact role of oseoclast (I mean it hav the same activity in the normal state) thanks

  • Osteoblasts and Osteoclasts were described to me like "road workers". One comes in and removes the damaged bone cells while the other comes in and replaces the cells back in. They do this constantly, not necessarially just in fractures. Google got some good stuff on both.

  • hi.... there is someone who can explain me the mechanism of action of corticosteroids and PTH on osteoclast thanks

  • I know you asked a month ago the answer is PTH is released by the parathyroid gland endocrine gland.Overactivity of this gland is called Hyperparathyroidism and occurs in OSTEITIS FIBROSA CYSTICA causes high calcium levels (hypercalcemia) and low levels of phosphate in the blood.

  • would our bones get bigger or longer after if is repaired from a fracture?

"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can' t do that."
