I HATE this type of American adverts: "So its like a loop loc puts a lock on the pool to keep kids and pets safe"! So unbearably scripted.

yea my grandfather always talks about it. I was a little boy when the commercial was made. The funniest thing about it was that sandie promised joe a free cover for the use of the pool and the elephant ended up not only making a whole in the cover, but also took a crap on it. They of course gave him another cover

when bubbles made his debut on that pool cover, that was my grandfather's house. his name was joseph neadel. I am the nephew of Sandie and Bill Donaton.

wow.....small world isn't it? i knew bill donaton back on long island. he was a great guy and invented a great cover too! i believe that video was actually from the mid-1980's. dan
