the other class of startship is a "transport tug" and can be seen in the original 1960s "Starfleet Technical Manual" written by Franz Joseph. as a matter of fact this version of star trek uses ships and equipment from that manual. I like the fact they stick as close to the original equipment and ships as possible. The captain is "Mr. Kyle" a bridge officer from the original series
