@juliadennehy Dont be missleading... my eos is prima ok! also I googled and I found just one incident with roof malfuctioning.. (and that was probably due to the poor service in a particular dealershop, according to the forum posts ). NONE eos transmission problems ! now it seems that some people face oil consumption problems.. but I am sure that atleast half of them did floor the car out of the box excessively(which is bad) and the other half just takes to many miles continuesly with highspeed

Actually... Mini is British but BMW which is German took over production with a new design in 2000. Bentley and Rolls Royce are both British.

Also, American cars tend to appeal to a broader range of consumers which makes the "quality" somewhat variable. As the newer American cars are produced, the quality and price goes up which makes a new car less affordable for many people.

the only way the north american cars meet emissions standards is by changing the way they measured it

the tests used to be done at 100 k/h, now they are done at 70k/h because otherwise they wouldnt even be able to meet their own standards.

guys what about getting a automatic transmission fail @ 65000km and having to pay 10000USD to get it fixed. Thanks Volkswagen for the low quality product! Now at 75000km I have an AC problem where they expect me to pay another 2000USD. Golf V is the worst car ever!
