this is actually shockingly well done to have done it at such a young age. when i was in 7th-8th grade i tried making my own animations, i know that i didnt even get more than 7 seconds done before i gave up, so kudos to you for having gone through with it!

To be honest, your opening theme wasn't half-bad, given the circumstances. If anything, you have a rather good sense of editing and your timing was accurate, too. While the art has room for improvement, as well as the plot itself, this is much better than anything I could have made in the 7th grade.

(cont.) I actually will not have anything that I will be comfortable enough to release probably until I am in college. I'm in 9th grade now. Take much more time doing these things, even great animators take weeks to make animations that are even a few minutes long.

@jorsully Thank you for your feedback. However, the YinYang project is more of a project I do for fun. I write stories, and I like anime. Even though I'm not the best animator in the world, this is my way of conveying the story. I didn't have the cash to buy adobe flash, so I made due with what I had. This was completed when I was in the 7th grade, and now I have a tablet, but for being a 13 year old making this in her free time, I think I did pretty good.

@animestrawberrykitty I see. But if you really want to improve, try starting with a simple cartoon style, and build up to anime. Observe cartoons and anime closely. And I'm sure if you look, you could find freeware similar to Adobe Flash. Some of my favorite cartoons are Ren & Stimpy, the Scott Pilgrim comic series, mcbess's drawing and paintings, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Superjail, and a couple very unique anime that I love are FLCL and Dead Leaves.

Please, before you make a video, use Adobe Flash to make it flow a little better, practice drawing a bit, maybe get a tablet, and you probably shouldn't do anime. Try something simpler, more cartoony animation. Then build up to anime. Also, find a specific artist to get inspiration from. I usually draw from the style of mcbess. Been doing it since last year, I improved a lot, but not enough to release anything on Youtube. I plan on combining 2D animation with 3D from Blender.
