@brandyn420420 they come from the factory supercharged, but when it comes to toys like this, theyre not "supposed" to be anything other than what the owner wants it to be. this is a great example of what should turn out to be one hell of a fast truck.
mad props! that is a clean looking setup, it looks natural, the routing of all the lines and everything, very clean install, lets see some vids of her running!
some people dont like them so they take it off and replace it with a turbochrger. you get better fuel mpgs. plus if your like me you HATE that stupid whining of the supercharger. but on the downside, you dont get the torque of a supercharger. this isnt directed toward you,its for anybody who cares tor read it.
The last thing anyone replacing a supercharger with a turbo is concerned about is fuel economy. Turbos make just as much torque as superchargers, just not as quick initially. Turbos are for those looking for (unlimited) 1000+ horsepower capability!
it takes a big turbo charger to make the same power as a supercharger. and about the economic concern , you can buy a turbo charger that works on a higher rpm ( say if you didnt want it to start making boost until...idk...2k rpm, lets go with that) so when your driving you can be using the engines natural power and not the boost. turbos ( in the cases ive been involved with at least ) are low maintenance and cheap. turbos arent for that unless its a stupid ass kid with a honda!!
I love how much cleaner DOHC setups are... especially with a snail

It's not a turbo, that was a centrifugal supercharger

clean as fuck and more room easier to work well done!
r1killen 1 year ago
After installing a turbo you should let it run for about an hour to check pressure and leaks then check the boost

@corvettkiller666 turbo's produce out a lot more power at high rpms. superchargers have amazing instant torque tho.
