Your videos are testament to the realism that can be attained with MSTS when the time and labor (not to mention patience) are invested. Well done sir, you're actually making me miss my MSTS days a little bit (though still not enough to drag me back into it again). I once used to go crazy making MSTS real to life like that and posting photo-like screenshots of the results...never again though. Thanks for sharing these!
Nice video. Back in the '80.s I worked as a brakeman on this very same territory ( Alliance, Ne to Edgemont, Sd.) We ran plenty of manifest trains along with the coal traffic. Keep up the great work!
are you useing Fraps and if so how do you get Fraps to record the whole train?

what sound file did you replace to make your
rolling stock sound like that...I did it once, but I cant remember the file name
negerpungrally2 4 years ago
Considering that 99.9% of any BNSF traffic over the hill is coal cars, not freight, strange video.
SIrDrinksalot2 4 years ago
I know. Well, here is a strange train that makes up that 0.1% of trains going over the hill.

I got two questions...
1. How do you get your camera to stay in place that long?
2. How do you record your videos? Fraps?
traintownofcowee 5 years ago
1. Modified Yard cam
2. Fraps
burritofarmer 5 years ago

Do you use the paid version of Fraps?
