Its always the ones that wear the bandanas over their faces that feel the need to insight some sort of incident. The taser was justified and my opinion will not change. They didn't have the common sense to just continue thier protest, they had to stand around the cops and yell things such as "fuck the pigs" or "fuck police" which I find very self-defeatest of the whole protest it's self. There was nothing peaceful about this protest because the protesters didn't want it to be.

First of all, recruiters don't have quotas, they get paid no matter what, if they suck at recruiting they suck at recruiting and they get a crappy performance raiting, but that's just facts of life. 2nd , a protest is not the place to be bringing young kids and to be quite honest, young kids shouldn't be a part of protests in the first place, especially if they've been indoctrinated with w/e crap their parents want them to believe. 3rd, that's not an Army recruiting officer, he's an NCO

First off, why they hell were they walking in the center of the street? Its easy to form a protest for something and do it responsibly. If you decide to disrupt traffic you are going to get arrested, if you resist arrest you are going to get the tazer. I've been to several protests and ive never been tazered or arrested, or even been threatened with arrest. Then again I don't lay down in the street like an idiot.

What kind of F#cking retard brings small children to a protest. I have sympathy for the children, not because they got pepper sprayed, but because they have worthless idiots for parents. It did not appear to be a peaceful demonstration to me. They looked like they were moments away from inciting a violent riot, and the police quickly contained the situation and prevented anyone, or any property from sustaining serious damage.
Bravo to law enforcement for measured and restrained use of force.

If these protesters believe they are protesting for the right cause why do they cover their faces? And the old lady is wrong about recruiters going after the poor. A lot of people who come from bad neighborhoods join voluntarily because they have a better chance of succeeding after the military rather than without it. And the girl was resisting on the ground, just because she was on the ground doesn't mean she was compliant. She deserved to be tased. My opinion.

I think all tasers should be banned,police abuse these devices way too much.If they arnt banned All Police should be reeducated in the proper use of these things. They also should be tested to make sure they understand how to use them the correct way.
I read a manual online on the use of these devices and it says that no more than 2 - 3 seconds should be used. Anything higher will have a chance of causing harm.
To any officer that disagrees,do your job right and we wont tell ya how to do it.

People certainly do but the way they went about this demonstration was begging for a situation. From what I understand there was no forewarning to the city that the demonstration would happen, the protesters wore scarves and masks concealing their faces, when the cops showed up they yelled at them, ran all over and acted threateningly. Then a sign was knocked over in what seemed like a rush at the cops.
Honestly they're lucky that people were only tased. This could have ended up much worse....

If you are blocking a road its disturbing the peace. Sure you can peacefully assemble, but you have to get a permit. They are attacking somebody or destroying property is why the police did what they did. All for it. Using children to add to your demonstration is poor judgemnt and terrible parenting. The U.S. military is also all volunteer so it is THIER choice to go. One lady doesn't have a media badge. Unneccessary? They are breaking the law. Fuck them.
